Do you want your bloodwork reviewed on the podcast, for free?
We remove anything identifying and give you a private codeword so youβll know when yours airs. We added in a section to add lifestyle details as well. We can take a look at it all.

As I was telling someone yesterdayβ¦
If you make the proper lifestyle changes then those lean mass data points from the trial become way less relevant to your own outcome.
High protein. Lift consistently. Fuel properly.
Them: youβre going to get on Reta and lose muscle mass!!!
Me: hold my protein shake bro
Incline bench 275lbs today. Ugly but getting there.
Building brick by brick!
Things I learned from this comment section:
β’ 0.5 is a placebo
β’ 0.5 isnβt a placebo
β’ thereβs more in the vial than you think
β’ only works if youβre lean
β’ doesnβt work if youβre lean
β’ 4mg hits softer than 1mg
β’ itβs the BAC water
β’ itβs the vendor
β’ itβs science
Weβre all right. Somehow. I love this app.
When this trial ends I need to try grey market Reta just for science lol.
I find it mind blowing that people really say 0.5 mg nuked their appetite.
Thatβs 25% of the starter dose π
π§ͺ One thing I think people misunderstand about Reta:
The dose isnβt supposed to feel identical forever.
For me suppression was strongest in the first few weeks of a new dose, then slowly settled.
That didnβt mean the dose βstopped working.β
Hunger came back.
The food noise/control benefits stayed.
Those are two different things.
π£οΈ Nobody really talks about the middle ground of weight loss.
I feel like Iβve left a lot of my old life behind.
β’ The bad habits
β’ The drinking
β’ The people I donβt really connect with anymore
β’ The version of me that was just kind of existing
But I havenβt fully built the new life yet either.
β’ New friends
β’ More confidence
β’ A better social life
Iβm healthier. More disciplined. Moving in the right direction.
But this middle part is weird as hell lol.
But honestly this part can feel lonely as hell.
You donβt want to go back to the people or habits you outgrew, but you havenβt built the next chapter yet either.
Thatβs where I feel like I am right now.
Too far removed from my old life to want it back.
Not far enough into the new one to feel like I belong there yet.
I always find this interesting because Lilly has never told me βcarbs are essential on Retaβ and I havenβt seen it framed that way in my trial paperwork either.
Iβm more on the side of:
Just eat lol.
Donβt be scared of carbs. Donβt be scared of calories. Fuel yourself and see how you actually feel.

π SHOT DAY β 70 DOWN, WHATβS NEXT
Phase 3 retatrutide trial participant
entry//030
Quick reminder that I hit 70 lbs down last week.
Took 6.5 months which is still kinda crazy to me lol.
β’ Goal weight is probably 205β210
β’ Next target: 245 by Christmas
β’ Meal planning is still locked in
β’ New 5-day lifting split feels great
β’ Really enjoying hitting legs 2x/week
β’ No sides
β’ 9 mg just feels normal now. Iβve definitely settled into it
Honestly starting to think I might hit my end goal a lot sooner than I expected. This stuff is amazing.

1 complete month at only 0.5mg and my life has already turned 180
Went from around 204lbs to 191
Cardio or lifting everyday
Much more energy and a lot of pain in joints is gone
Feeling amazing and itβs just getting started
Motivated and doing things I shouldβve started along time ago all thanks to a little bit of Reta and hard work
This one means a little more to me.
I had lost all the weight right before COVID, then spent lockdown gaining it all back.
By the time lockdowns ended I was basically this exact weight, just heading the wrong way.
Thatβs really when everything started going downhill for me.
Now Iβm back here again, but going the other direction.
Couldnβt be happier.

Shit crazy but I just hit 40lbs down on Reta, Iβm not even a full 3 months. Fuck with ya boy.
π§ͺ Being 6.5 months into a Phase 3 Reta trial, Iβm still a little weird about giving βadviceβ like I know everything.
But one thing I do believe in now:
Learn the dose before you increase it.
The trial forced me to sit on each dose for 8 weeks.
That taught me way more than constantly chasing the next dose ever would.
Suppression changes. Hunger changes. Sides settle. Sleep changes. Training changes.
Give the dose time to actually show you what it does for you.
For me 6mg was where everything kind of clicked at once.
Suppression got noticeably stronger, but the bigger thing was energy/mood/training/recovery all improved together.
I was eating around the same calories, training harder, recovering better, sleeping better and my waist started moving more.
It was the first dose that felt noticeably different from the earlier ones.
People ask me what dose βworked.β
Honestly:
2mg changed my head.
4mg increased suppression.
6mg changed the whole feel of the drug for me.
9mg has basically felt like a top-up of 6mg, very similar to how I felt when I first started 6, just stronger again.
Thatβs why I hate when people reduce these meds to:
βX mg is the good dose.β

First clinic check-in on 9 mg and probably my slowest 4-week stretch yet lol.
β’ 7 lbs down β 1 lb short of my goal
β’ Waist: exactly the same as 4 weeks ago
β’ No bloodwork
β’ No mental eval
β’ Pretty lackluster visit overall
Still moving πͺ
