Update : Surgery is scheduled for Nov 10 but there has been a paucity of donations thus far. Please rt and donate. Thank you.
Hey everyone. I'm still crowdfunding for my mom's eye surgery. Things are really dire and we've been able to raise 1.2M out of the needed 2.8M Naira. All support is welcome, really nothing is too small. 8106610083 Opay Akinwande Oluwadamilare Remilekun. oncrowdr.com/explore/c/help-…

You can watch the short I & @Retepoki made as part of this programme, online till Nov 15 (incidentally my birthday lol). When I moved to Lagos, Screenoutlouder was a massive part of my life and I’ll always sing Derin’s praises. TSIT exists because of her. screenoutlouder.com/dearly-b…

Today’s spotlight is on Everything Lasts and Nothing Ends. I saw it at S16 last year and I was enamored by the story telling style. Sadly, it’s not out for public viewing yet. Hopefully soon. Happy Pride, my sweet darlings.
It’s pride month. And every now and then, I will be spotlighting queer Nigerian films that you should be watching. I will be starting with my short film, Ti e Nbo, The film explores themes of identity, conversion therapy, and the complexities of family dynamics.
