I will forever maintain that the perfect "decade" for entertainment, was 1985-1995. The early 80s and late 90s had some great shit too. But for movies, shows, music, comics, video games, arcades, cartoons, you name it, late 80s through early 90s is untouchable.

This year's #Pumpkin Pal, Spooky. #Halloween #October #Tradition #Spooky

The Ghost & Mr. Chicken was one of the very first #spooky movies I remember seeing, as a small child. Sure, it's a goofball Don Knotts comedy, but that #haunted house still got me, at that age. #Halloween #October #Horror #Ghosts retrorevelations.blogspot.co…

For #ThrowbackThursday, here is a piece I wrote years ago, about the fabulous Roger Corman "Poe Series". Based on Edgar Allen Poe stories and poems, these were the best Gothic #Horror of the 60s, this side of Hammer! My fav. is The Raven! #Halloween retrorevelations.blogspot.co…

Don Knotts was one of the funniest men to exist, and one of those singular personalities, no one else like him. And this was, in my estimation, his best and funniest film. #Halloween #HauntedHouse #October #Spooky #Comedy #Movies #Horror #Mystery retrorevelations.blogspot.co…

Just in time for #Halloween, here is the 1957 sci-fi comedy classic, Invasion of the Saucer Men! #SciFi #Aliens #October #Spooky #Horror #Movies youtube.com/watch?v=kWrRxslf…

The real answer is "Far too many to count". But for the sake of Halloween time, I'll say:

Just a friendly reminder, that while you're watching #horror films on this lead up to #Halloween, don't limit yourself to movies from the recent past. Dig into the 1920s, the 30s, the 40s, the 50s, the 60s, 70s and yes 80s! There are SO many great old films. Go discover some!

Twitter....I want to see people I follow's posts. Not their replies or reactions to OTHER people posts. Stop.

What an incredibly stupid world we live in. I mean, for a seemingly endless number of reasons. But particularly, the sect of victim blaming meme cultists, who try to parrot that "Johnny was the REAL hero of Karate Kid" bullshit. Guess what? After S1, Kobra Kai sucks.

For #ThrowbackThursday, here's one of the very first pieces I ever wrote, back in #October of 2012. It deals with my more cherished #toys from my childhood, the amazing Monster in my Pocket series! #Halloween #90s #Monsters #Horror retrorevelations.blogspot.co…

It's that time of year again, and so here's my #Halloween article, taking a look at #DonKnotts, and his hilarious classic, The Ghost and Mr. Chicken! #October #Haunted #Ghosts #Spooky #Comedy retrorevelations.blogspot.co…
