The more you read about Khaldoon Al Mubarak, the more you realise he canāt carry on as City chairman if PL is to maintain integrity
Wholly unsurprising that he tried this - and yet still shocking that he did - via @FT

Manchester City reported £949.4m arriving from sponsors over nine years.
The real number was Ā£119.2m. Abu Dhabi United Group (ADUG), the clubās owner, forked out the remaining Ā£830.7m in what the commission described as a ādisguised funding schemeā.
City are alleged to have overstated their revenue by £854.5m over nine years.
We knew it was going to be bad. But this bad? No, it is on a different scale to anything the Premier League has seen before.

Pochettino: nail on head
Asked about Manchester City's rule breaches, #USMNT Mauricio Pochettino said "If itās true that the 114 rules were broken, then we lived through a period of deception."

It is kind of amazing the way City, partly because of rather than in spite of things like the 115 charges, have been the neutralās choice most of last decade.
Almost the more divorced from reality they were, the fewer feelings they invoked - esp compared to original PL Big Four.

Saturday at Tottenham Hotspur's Ā£1bn stadium and itās unnervingly quiet.
There is a buzz around the ground as thousands of people rush to make kick-off, but no chanting, no shouting, no singing, no anticipation.
A lone man in his thirties with bloodshot eyes yells, āCome on you Spursā. He is drunk and an anomaly.
The boos are what generate the headlines but what hits you harder is the silence.

It's hard to argue against Kane for the Ballon d'Or IMO. Most goals, domestic treble, deep WC and UCL runsĀ whilst playing a role far more complete than anybody putting up similar numbers. Solves deep build-up, a playmaker in the middle third, scores in the final third. Performance is more impressive than the ridiculous scoring which is something given he scored 73.
