How is the internet less private than in 2006, when the whole family shared one computer?
Back then, the internet was weird, personal, and all of ours.
So, we got your favorite meme legends back together to say it louder: What happened to the internet? 1/3

And this is why you can't lose to the saints and the browns
If the Ravens lose tomorrow without Lamar, I have serious concerns about them making the playoffs.
Dropping to 4-3 and 0-2 in the AFC North would almost eliminate us from winning the division, especially if you look at the remaining schedule for the Browns, Bengals and Steelers compared to the Ravens.
That means we would have to beat out the other teams in the division plus teams like the Pats, Broncos, Texans and Raiders for a playoff spot.
What’s also annoying about this team is they are front runners. They are so mentally weak I don’t get it. They fold nearly every time. #RavensFlock
The thing is, if this was madden I would have gone for it on 4 and 2 instead of taking the chip shot FG there too. But yanno, it isn’t. #ravensflock
Incredible lol.
I’m grieving the deaths of the two Israeli soldiers killed in Hebron today, and praying for the full & speedy recovery of those who were injured.
I’ve spoken out loudly this week against Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, which imposes violence on a daily basis, and I will continue to do so. But violence is not the path to ending it — or to achieving safety, freedom, and peace for both Palestinians and Israelis.
And neither is collective punishment or ethnic cleansing of an entire neighborhood, or punishing millions of people for the criminal act of two, which Netanyahu has promised to enact in response.
I’ve seen a lot this week and I’ll have more to say about in the coming days (I’m on my way home shortly). There is a path to ending this excruciating cycle of violence. It starts by insisting that every life is sacred, that everyone is created in God’s image.
For now: Shabbat Shalom, to everyone who believes in the hard work of making peace & justice a reality, for everyone.

Today, I’m honored to share that President Obama is supporting our campaign for the U.S. Senate.
President @BarackObama & I both started as organizers in our communities, because we immediately understood that real changes come from regular folks joining the fight.

In my old age I’m starting to believe there are people who are born to be shorn like Angora goats. Like that’s their only purpose on earth, just scammed, fleeced, and squeezed dry for everything they have.

World-leading cardiac surgeon Asif Hasan was surrounded by the children who received the gift of life thanks to his unerring skills at the emotional climax of another memorable Pride of Britain ceremony. 🥹
Now 70 years old, Mr Hasan has just retired after 35 years of service at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne, but just after receiving his Lifetime Achievement Award, he had an extra special surprise: a cast of patients who would not be alive without him. ❤️

This might sound crazy.
But one of the skills you NEED to learn is how to deal with a more and more illiterate society full of emotionally dysregulated people.
If you keep getting frustrated every day over how "ďumb" everything/everyone seems, the stress of it is going to wreck your mind.

I listened to older black NYers worry about this in housing Q&As, and public forums and being told they were being paranoid for asking about it.
Here we are.
After promising to commit to public housing on the campaign trail, Zohran Mamdani's NYC is now backing a developer-friendly demolition and privatization plan to displace thousands of working-class New Yorkers and hand over public land to billionaire Steve Ross
Despite pushback from his own DSA allies, the Mamdani admin has doubled down on the project, calling it "innovative"
Now, Fulton, Elliott, and Chelsea Houses in Manhattan are slated for demolition and redevelopment, shifting residents from Section 9 public housing to Section 8. More than 2,000 residents now face displacement, with elderly tenants among those most immediately threatened.
"This is a land grab! We have 4 white men in a room making decisions for us! Y'all need to stop this nonsense. Mamdani is not working for the people, he's working for the damn developers!"
