This is good 💯 Pope Francis wrote this in the Hospital. “The walls of hospitals have heard more honest prayers than churches... They have witnessed far more sincere kisses than those in airports... It is in hospitals that you see a homophobe being saved by a gay doctor. A privileged doctor saving the life of a beggar... In intensive care, you see a Jew taking care of a racist... A police officer and a prisoner in the same room receiving the same care... A wealthy patient waiting for a liver transplant, ready to receive the organ from a poor donor... It is in these moments, when the hospital touches the wounds of people, that different worlds intersect according to a divine design. And in this communion of destinies, we realize that alone, we are nothing. The absolute truth of people, most of the time, only reveals itself in moments of pain or in the real threat of an irreversible loss. A hospital is a place where human beings remove their masks and show themselves as they truly are, in their purest essence. This life will pass quickly, so do not waste it fighting with people. Do not criticize your body too much. Do not complain excessively. Do not lose sleep over bills. Make sure to hug your loved ones. Do not worry too much about keeping the house spotless. Material goods must be earned by each person—do not dedicate yourself to accumulating an inheritance. You are waiting for too much: Christmas, Friday, next year, when you have money, when love arrives, when everything is perfect... Listen, perfection does not exist. A human being cannot attain it because we are simply not made to be fulfilled here. Here, we are given an opportunity to learn. So, make the most of this trial of life—and do it now. Respect yourself, respect others. Walk your own path, and let go of the path others have chosen for you. Respect: do not comment, do not judge, do not interfere. Love more, forgive more, embrace more, live more intensely! And leave the rest in the hands of the Creator.” —Pope Francis

There is no evidence to suggest this was written by Pope Francis. The verses contain lines from other works and have circulated before claiming to be written by others. newtral.es/definicion-hos… boatos.org/english/30-fak…

Please support if you can. Every penny goes directly into research.
Imagine for one second that your child was gone. No more phone calls. No more texts. No more cooking their favorite meals, washing their clothes, or picking them up. No more excitement watching them as they move from school to college, to university, to first love, to marriage, to children etc Welcome to my world. Brain cancer took Charlotte at just 19 years and 5 days she never stood a chance. We’re fighting to change that for others. If you can donate, we would be so grateful. But even a simple RT helps more than you know. Thank you. 18.2.97 -24.2.16 charlottesbag.com/

Just marked a question on differences between Christian and Muslim prayer....Christians don't wash their hands and feet and can wear nail polish.

Please support this cause if you can.
I was told today that I was an inspiration. I replied, "I'm not." I was dealt a card that I cannot change, so I must make the most of it or lose it. All I do now is raise awareness in honour of my daughter and her bravery. Charlotte has gone forever but glioblastoma hasn't. Thinking of all those past/present and, unfortunately, future. One RT for knowing what glioblastoma is would give me an indication of how many people have heard of it. I have an awful feeling there may be quite a few. charlottesbag.com/

Quite excited as we've been contacted by @bbc5live for a interview about Charlotte and the charity set up in her name. Hopefully we are getting the message out there: we may be small but we are making a difference to research in brain tumours. The big difference with our charity is that we self fund. This means that 100% of your donation goes to research at King's College Hospital, London. We have no salaries, no overheads, no advertising, no merchandise. We have no quirky gimmicks to draw you in, just the story of a wonderful and incredibly brave young woman. We pay our own expenses, including PayPal fees & PO Box fees. If you want to donate to a charity, please think of us. Charlotte, you will never be another brain tumour statistic, you will change things. My daughter Charlotte 18.2.1997 - 24.2.2016 RIP

Would Pastor Tim @StarofBethel1 approve of this?O little town of Dorking, How still we see thee lie. Above thy deep and dreamless sleep The satellites go by Yet in thy boutique shops The everlasting bling The tithes and cheques of all the peers Are cashed for thee tonight.

The Tories really are masters of distraction. While we are all focusing on @GaryLineker and his sadly accurate comments they have managed to get the @bbc to trash their own reputation for impartiality and move us away from their appalling policies.1/

We should be focused on the NHS, the draft Immigration Bill, failing public services everywhere and the rampant corruption exemplified by the risible Johnson honours list- 2 words that hardly belong together.#GTTO #distraction #bbc #ToryCorruption

Don’t be caught out by @firstdirect charges on collecting foreign cheques. Used to be a charge of £7 each now quadrupled to £28 each. More than half the value of the deposit! That’s some inflation!

On Thursday, St Faith’s hosted the Year 4 Primary Maths Challenge in Ashburton Hall. We were delighted to host a total of 26 local schools, with over a hundred pupils in attendance #Maths #wyverns

In most seats in England and Wales the Labour Party are the tactical vote advice, yet in these particular seats the voters who want the Tories out of power are better off voting tactically for the Liberal Democrats. We'll get onto Scotland later

I agree with this. We should not marry anybody until we can marry everybody.

I was taught that spouses administer the Sacrament of Matrimony one to the other, and that the Priest simply represents the Church and pronounces God's blessing. Perhaps we should just make all couples marry civilly in the register office, and bless them generously afterwards.

As a sixth form tutor I reckon I spend at least 6 hours with each applicant individually crafting these statements. I know most will be unread but the pupil and parental expectations are very high and so we feel compelled to 'play the game'.

Completely agree.
I will baptise the children of unmarried parents. I will remarry the divorced. I will marry same sex couples (when allowed). I am betting that God’s grace and love far exceeds our understanding and that he wants to reconcile all creation to him.
