$ICP withstood a coordinated AI enabled attack this week. Hundreds of malformed canisters. Zero downtime.
Every agreement on Noira stayed intact, encrypted, and accessible throughout. Not because we did anything. It's because that's what the infrastructure does by design.
🚨 Last night, the Internet Computer network withstood a widespread, AI-enabled attack, which involved hundreds of canisters using malformed Wasm modules.
In advance of ICP cloud engines, Open SaaS, Intelligence Gateway, and MULTI/DEX, we are seeing a rising tide of attacks.
As many ICP community members have pointed out, a legion of trolling and FUD accounts have now appeared on social media, often repeating exactly the same poisonous messages, over and over, en masse.
The posts of the trolls trace back to agency paymasters, who themselves have received money from somebody. Obviously, whoever is funding this has no place in the tech industry, but sadly some people in the crypto industry see themselves as belonging to something else.
The well-funded organizations behind these attacks are not interested in making the world a better place by developing game-changing technology. They are only interested in extracting easy money through snakeoil narratives and scams that our industry still has not gathered the strength to end — they are vampires that prey on the ignorance of token buyers, and they attack anything that might disrupt the status quo by showing people the light of real technology.
These tell themselves they are just crypto bros playing the crypto game.
However, paying for, or organizing, attacks on public infrastructure, even at arms length, is a serious criminal act, which also reflects who they really are.
We want to know who is behind these attacks, and ask for help. DFINITY will offer rewards to those who can help us unmask the criminals, and bring them to justice. These guys need to be doxxed.
Thank you for your attention in this, and thank you to the ICP community that stands with the network 💪

Who else can read the NDA you signed last month ?
Not hypothetically. Literally.
Most E Signature platforms if compelled, breached, or just curious can technically open your documents.
NOIRA can't.
Ever.
Documents are encrypted in your browser before ever reaching NOIRA.

Update: Agents
Built on $ICP MCP.
Register agents with scoped permissions.
Read, create or both. They can pull contracts, drafts and flag renewals.
What they can't do: Sign.
That stays human.
Attribution and VetKeys throughout.
Live now from "Agents" tab.

A 5 min walkthrough, from account creation all the way through signing an NDA on Noira. Agreements should only be readable by the people involved and now they are. VetKey encryption is amazing and does all the heavy lifting on privacy. Sometimes I feel like we're spoiled here to be able to build things like this. $ICP just... has this built in. It's wild.

Copper just cleared the way. (US qualified custodian + FINRA/SEC broker dealer status) That's kept hella institutional capital like pensions RIAS endowments etc out of crypto custody relations.
Copper is already the deepest institutional partner for $ICP.
Full stack custody, staking, SNS governance access, ICRC tokens and the custodian behind the only $ICP ETP (Valour). IMO of any chain was about to inherit a US institutional pipeline given how much groundworks been laid its ICP when copper flips that switch.
That on top of the Swiss sovereign subnet in the Pakistan mou. I could be wrong but I feel like a US compliant yield product is coming to $ICP soon. Maybe staking ETFs for ICP ?
We're pleased to share that Copper Markets US has been granted FINRA membership and, through its SEC broker-dealer registration, is now a Qualified Custodian.
This milestone marks an important step in our US expansion and reflects our long-term commitment to building trusted, regulated blockchain-based infrastructure for institutional clients. It also provides the regulatory foundation to bring access to the ClearLoop Network, Copper's collateral mobility platform, to the US market, combining qualified custody with faster and more efficient blockchain-based collateral mobility capabilities.
Alongside this announcement, we’re also unveiling a new, refreshed Copper brand to mark the next chapter of our journey. This new experience reflects who we are today and the direction that we will be heading towards next.
As the ecosystem of digital assets expands and institutional adoption of digital assets continues to grow, we're focused on delivering innovative solutions underpinned by strong governance, security and regulatory oversight.
We look forward to sharing more about our US offering in the months ahead.

Noira's now listed in @web3privacy Now's directory alongside some genuinely solid privacy first projects. Good company to be in. $ICP

Free for $ICP ecosystem projects, always. If you're building here, your agreements should live here too.

If you're building on $ICP your agreements probably shouldn't live anywhere else.
Most of it still ends up in DocuSign, a Google Doc, or nowhere signed at all.
Noira applies the same trust model your canisters already run on. Encrypted client side, verified onchain, stored native
