Those of you who are putting all your hope in OSS - you really think that if they are serious about all of this they’ll let you own the hardware that can run the top end models?
First iteration of makingsoftware.com but for tennis is turning out better than I expected
Now name it something esoteric, like GPT 5.6 Sol Ultra, so they don't know what they are regulating

Imagine being an American investor, who was about to 1000x your fund this summer and become a legend. And then the company that you invested in isn't allowed to release AI by your government, ceding the 4 month lead, worth nearly a trillion dollars
*OPENAI LEANS TOWARD WAITING UNTIL NEXT YEAR FOR IPO: NYT
“Global markets have also been choppy in recent weeks, with tech stocks dragging down indexes as investors question whether A.I. companies will live up to their sky-high promises.
That has caused OpenAI’s advisers, in conversations with the company over the past week, to caution that it may not find much enthusiasm from retail investors for its own shares, two of the people involved said.”

BUY ALL OF YOUR TECH NOW. ANYTHING WITH A CHIP.

Stop waiting if you can afford it now. We're comically underestimating how bad the market is about to become

A funny thing is that LLMs are not particularly good building agentic systems. For the moment, you need human expertise to do it well.
Government: Compute Providers must prevent anyone from using Fable Open Source by implementing x, y , z measures.
Compute Providers: If you plan on using Fable Open Source, you must do x, y , z or we won't have you here.
Reality: If you can afford the hardware for it, it's not SOTA. You will only be able to rent AGI, not own it. And we can gatekeep hardware.

Custom asset generation pipeline + SVG Animation + Remotion = Beautiful Demo on how top spin works in tennis
Some good concepts from gpt-image-2. I wonder how hard it would be to create the assets and animation for this

Feeling like I'm living inside @waitbutwhy 's legendary procrastination talk. Had to do marketing for another project, ended up watching a doc about tennis, buying a new domain, a book, and now I'm learning about QR codes
The plan:
1. Create Mockups using gpt-image-2 (we are here) until satisfied
2. Extract each element of the design using gpt-image-2
3. Convert all elements into svgs using recraft
4. Animate somehow (lol)
5. Play tennis to celebrate

makingsoftware.com but it's tennis. Who is building this? playingtennis seems like a no-brainer
I should probably watch @DanHollick lessons about how he made the animations on makingsoftware.com/course though. Oh well, another detour...
here I go buying domain names again

makingsoftware.com by @DanHollick is so good. Every domain should be covered by a project like this. Someone should launch a makingx as a service and leverage ai to make it (probably won't be as good as the og)
