Hey folks it's Alex! Just wanted to show a little sign of life here since it's getting close to the end of the year.
I won't be posting an update vlog for this month because I don't have anything to say besides "Yep! I'm workin' on it!"

After the next cut is finished, likely around Q2 or Q3 2022, I'll post another update vlog where I'll quickly go over all of the final touches that need to be made before we can release the film. This will include things like graphics, subtitles, and distribution planning.

tl;dw
-just finished the 2nd cut of the documentary. story, pacing, and soundtrack are mostly locked in at this point.
-gonna be spending the rest of this year finishing up the bulk of the editing work, still taking photo and video submissions.
The soundtrack for this project is almost entirely made up of self-published music by indie artists who offered up their music for us to use, usually for free.
But of course, we had to make an exception and pay the licensing fee for this bad boy:

-add music
By end of the year
-add b-roll
-add vods
-add archival footage and photos
Then:
-add articles and social media screenshots
-add graphics
-finalize sound mixing
Finally:
-subtitles
-color correction
-paperwork
-release the damn movie
