During an interview following the shooting, the boy's mother, Deja Taylor, said he had a "disability." "He has ADHD... he doesn't sit still ever." In the interview, Turner also appeared to point blame at the teacher for suspending her child, claiming he "accidentally" knocked her phone out of her hand. The teacher, Abigail Zwerner, suffered a gunshot wound to the hand and chest. She needed multiple surgeries and spent weeks in the hospital. I'm not a doctor, but I don't think ADHD makes you shoot your teacher.
