Question: Why do bad things happen to good people? Answer: See below quote of Padre Pio’s which may provide at least one answer to this age-old question. THIS will make you stop and think, especially regarding you and family members. We've been told by Our Lady that many souls go to Hell because there is no one to pray and make sacrifices for them.

The wealthy Democrats of Martha’s Vineyard would never stoop so low as to eat at a Cheesecake Factory: Dems like Barack and Big Mike Obama and John Kerry. Cheesecake Factory is for peasants and Republicans.
Bessent cooks Obama after dining at the Cheesecake Factory: "This is the man who built the museum that looks like Darth Vader’s tomb... I had a great meal, and I would tell the Martha's Vineyard set to give it a try." 😭

11, 12 and 14 years old Raped for days by more than 20 Pakistani immigrants. Tortured—one had her tongue nailed to the wall to keep her still while they raped her. The police ridiculed, insulted, and ignored them. The feminists turned the other way. If it hadn't been for Elon Musk, who publicly shared the trial testimonies, sparking outrage from Reform UK and internal investigations, no one would have known anything. You're not angry enough.

🚨 LOL: Bernie Sanders rolled into Michigan to pitch Medicare for All, a $20 minimum wage, and the PRO Act. Then he said Abdul El-Sayed will help him get it done. Of course he will. Same socialist wishlist. Same tired sales pitch. Same bill for Michigan workers. Bernie never met a tax he did not love, or a government program he did not want to grow. MICHIGAN IS NOT HIS LABORATORY.

From St. Faustina’s Diary Pure and Unadulterated Meditation: My child, you please Me most by suffering. In your physical as well as your mental sufferings, My daughter, do not seek sympathy from creatures. I want the fragrance of your suffering to be pure and unadulterated (Diary, 279). My Prayer Response: Lord Jesus, may souls who are suffering offer their sufferings in union with Yours — like the pure and unadulterated fragrance of incense — all for souls. Shouldn’t we all be prepped for 3 months at least?
FORTRESS: The Pentagon is preparing every major U.S. military base to survive 90 days without outside support — no civilian power grid, no global supply chains, no outside fuel or water. The initiative, revealed in documents reviewed by Fox News Digital, envisions portable nuclear reactors, massive battery storage, and microgrids that can disconnect installations from civilian electricity entirely. Strategic reserves of munitions, fuel, critical minerals, and medical supplies would be stockpiled based on wartime consumption rates. Civilian factories are being pre-identified to shift to defense production during a crisis. Pentagon chief spokesperson Sean Parnell put it bluntly: "Power is combat now. Without electricity, you lose communications, water, logistics, assembly lines and just basic military command structures." Full story here foxnews.com/politics/inside-…

CATHOLIC INTELLECTUAL TRADITION Did God sing the universe into being? It sounds like a child's question. But two of the great Christian storytellers of the last century reached for the same picture. Tolkien opens The Silmarillion with God giving the angels a theme and letting them sing. The world comes out of that music. Then one voice, Melkor, sings a discord. Tolkien was a lifelong Catholic, and he used that scene to explain evil. Evil is not a second creator. It is a flaw in a good creation, a note sung against the song. C. S. Lewis, an Anglican, has Aslan sing Narnia out of the dark in The Magician's Nephew. The hills rise and the animals appear as the song unfolds. Two men from different churches, and one picture. So the question deserves a real answer. The strongest case for "yes."
Job 38 describes the morning stars singing together when the earth's foundations were laid. Wisdom 11:21 says God ordered all things in measure, number and weight. Those three things are exactly what music is made of. Psalm 19 says the heavens declare the glory of God. Pythagoras taught that the heavenly bodies move in harmony. Boethius passed that idea to the Middle Ages, and Kepler was still writing about it in 1619. Augustine wrote a whole book on music, and he saw number and proportion as the footprints of God in the world. A Christian who reads all of this can fairly say the universe is built like a song. Now the terms.
To create, in Catholic teaching, means to make from nothing. The Fourth Lateran Council taught this in 1215. A craftsman needs wood. God needs nothing. Genesis says "God said," not "God sang." John 1 says all things were made through the Word, and the Word is the Son. Aquinas teaches that when we say God speaks or sings, we are using human language by analogy. God has no throat and no breath. Resolving it by distinction.
Literally, no. The Church has never taught that creation was a literal song. As a picture, yes, and a faithful one. Aquinas says beauty needs integrity, proportion and clarity. A song has all three, and so does the cosmos. When we say God sang the world, we are saying three true things. The world is ordered. The world is beautiful. The world is meant. A song has a composer, and so does the universe. The one danger.
If we take the picture too far, the world becomes God's voice and then part of God. That is pantheism, and the Church rejects it. The composer stands above the music. He is not inside it as one of its notes. Why this matters.
It is no accident that worship became sung. Gregorian chant is not decoration. It is prayer that tries to echo the order and beauty that God put into the world. Anyone who has stood in a church while a schola sings the Kyrie has felt it. A habit worth keeping.
When a vivid image shows up, ask what it is for before you ask whether it is true. Then separate what the Church teaches from what tradition and imagination added. That one step protects you from naive literalism on one side and cold dismissal on the other. Did God sing? Not with a voice. But he made a world that sounds like it was sung. So I will ask you: what is your favorite image of creation, from Scripture, from a book, or from your own life? Tell me in the replies. #CatholicIntellectualTradition #CatholicTwitter #CatholicX Author’s AI Usage Statement: Drafted with AI help. Reviewed and approved by me, the author.

I worked in this building in the past when it was the CNA building. This is what is happening to Chicago under the control of Brandon Johnson (D-Chicago) and the Democratic Party.
Dear god it’s bad news in downtown Chicago for commercial real estate. Massive buildings are being completely abandoned. Taxpayers across Cook County will be forced to pick up the property tax burden. We need a property tax cap.

Islam’s war on Catholics is real, especially in Ethiopia and Nigeria. @Godddeeessss
At least 47 Orthodox Christians were killed in a late-night attack in Shirka Woreda, in Ethiopia’s Oromia Region, Borkena news reports. Armed groups surrounded farming families in their homes around 10:00 PM, blocked the exits, opened fire and set the houses on fire. Local sources told Borkena the attackers included local armed groups and others from the neighboring Bale Zone. Residents asked police to step in, but the outlet reports that officers did not act, saying they had no official orders. Families are now burying their dead among the ashes of their homes. Let us pray for an end to the persecution of Christians in Ethiopia. #EthiopiaNews #ChristianPersecution #OrthodoxChristians #ReligiousFreedom #PrayForEthiopia #shalomworldnews

From St. Faustina’s Diary St. Faustina’s Faithfulness Meditation: Holy Saturday [April 16, 1938]. During adoration, the Lord said to me, Be at peace, My daughter. This work of mercy is Mine; there is nothing of you in it. It pleases Me that you are carrying out faithfully what I have commanded you to do, not adding or taking away a single word. And He gave me an interior light by which I learned that not a single word was mine; despite difficulties and adversities, I have always, always, fulfilled His will, as He has made it known to me (Diary, 1667). My Prayer Response: Lord Jesus, thank You for St. Faustina’s faithfulness to writing about Your mercy, so that each word written is available to us as Your word. May we take advantage of Your gift by regularly reading her Diary to aid us in our spiritual life.
