I am honoured to announce that the EOS Network has entrusted 5M $EOS from the newly created Middleware bucket to @greymass.
This funding, following the adoption of the New Tokenomics proposal, recognizes their extraordinary contributions since the network’s inception, from the creation of the first #EOS wallet (Anchor) to their leadership in developing open-source SDKs (Wharfkit) and authoring the Wallet+ and API+ Blue Papers.

I am an XPR Network Consortium member. Now that the bear market is over, we have voted to decrease our fee. The tokens available now (inflation stays the same), will be routed to the Grants Pool.
EOS Amsterdam plans to request grants more regularly to improve the XPR Network.
XPR Network Consortium Update:
In response to our community's feedback, we've reevaluated the consortium pay structure.
The Consortium’s first and foremost responsibility is to ensure the security of the XPR Network and the safekeeping of the funds in the grants pool. These are not the tasks to be taken lightly and the Consortium members treat them with the utmost responsibility. These tasks are also time consuming and require specialized knowledge and process from each member.
Therefore, we propose a strategic adjustment to maintain the network stability while enhancing the community empowerment.
Proposal Details: Consortium rewards are proposed to be reduced from 1% to 0.25%. The freed 0.75% will be redirected into XPR Grants, fueling innovation and community-led projects.
The Consortium is pivotal for the XPR Network’s governance, ensuring a secure and reliable network. Each Consortium member is carefully vetted, selected based on their geographic location, technical skills, vision for the XPR Network and proper governance experience.
