Managed to navigate Y11 through the notoriously conceptual DC motor today with very little trouble! Well done them. This year, I got them all playing this VERY simple and clear simulation before getting hands on with the motor kits. It worked! ophysics.com/em10.html

When a female member of staff asks a group of pupils to put rubbish in the bin and they ignore her, then a male member of staff asks them to do it and they do. That’s everyday sexism & it IS an issue in schools, don’t let people tell you it isn’t.
