The University of Nebraska completely debunks out the misleading narrative on cow burps & methane on climate change:
“They have not accounted for the capture part, they only account for methane being released. Carbon capture in soil and grass - helped out by cow grazing and manure - can far outweigh the emissions from cattle. Grasslands can take up more CO2 and carbon in the soil and plants, that offsets the CO2 that cattle are producing but it also offsets the methane.

#MairwenHerefords gazing naturally on land that’s being managed for both wildlife and cattle. Plenty of room for both. Not only does it benefit our food security but the challenges of climate change and wildlife recovery. Sensible choices not a vegan extremists misinformed view

“The effects of the family farm tax means we will lose the farm. Bear in mind we are the smallest farm locally. We have an inheritance tax liability of £600,000. That’s unsustainable for us.”

The Midtown Fell pony twins! I thought I had taken some once in a lifetime photos of twins a couple of years ago, how wrong I was - I have now photographed 2 sets of Fell pony twins! These were born a couple of weeks ago and are full of beans and love zooming around their paddock

"There is no point in creating a way of farming in this country that produces nutritious food, restores the environment & has high levels of animal welfare, and then import food that is produced in ways that would be illegal for our farmer"

Labour has declared war on our farmers. Plain and simple.
Our farming community have been very measured with the Government until this point.
They went to the Treasury today with real solutions. Labour chose to slam the door shut.
Today, the mask has slipped and Labour have revealed the contempt for which they hold the NFU, CLA, TFA and all our farming community.
The government has ignored every warning from farmers, rural businesses, and industry leaders.
The sooner they are kicked out of office the better.

Two days ago we needed growth so much that nature (newts and bats) was in the way of runways and roads
Today we need nature so bad farmers should abandon growth and sacrifice their property for climate change and nature restoration
WTF?
Do they even listen to themselves?

It's not dumb James, it's absolutely deliberate.
It is now as clear as daylight that the government plan is to drive farmers off the land and ultimately supply it to Blackrock, Monsanto, Bill Gates, Cargill and other corporates.
This is just a modern form of collectivisation as a land grab.
You and the rest of us are now going to have to fight for real. No more polite demos in London.

Over 100,000 people have added their name to stop the family farm tax.
The government must now listen and overturn this policy.

One of the worst aspects of the change to APR announced today is that it will penalise those farmers who die suddenly making a family tragedy a crisis.

The children’s boots remind us of the significance of the decisions to be made in the coming weeks.
