I can't believe I finally get to share this, but we've just launched Yaps 2.0 - the private, powerful AI toolkit. This is the easiest way to use on-device AI - period! Everything is 100x smoother, faster, and more reliable. Over the last month we've been so focussed on integrations, working with partners, and serving around 1,000 paying customers, that I didn't get time to really revisit the branding as a whole. We've officially rebranded and improved our website and desktop application, with more enhancements coming to mobile soon! If you're looking to use AI to enhance your productivity, without compromising your privacy, this is by far the best tool in the market! 🫡 Let me know what you think! --- Dictated with @TryYaps

Aside from them doing open source dirty, does the gap between Opus and Astra look right to you?

More trials today than I've had in a long time 😅 On-device AI ramping up!

I recommend holding on to it. To be honest, the difficulty is for a "pay once" business, you're putting all the marketing on them. They're not acquiring a stream of revenue. They're acquiring code and whatever brand you've built. I'm 15 days in, you've not built a brand. Just these days, how much is code by itself really worth?
I got an offer of $5k for tryhomy.app that made $3k in 15 days 😭 I was expecting better :(

you know you're doing SEO right when a few days into a new domain you have large companies reaching out to you to be featured in your articles 😅

Did this product video with GPT-6.1 Sol btw. AI video creation using code is too fun. I don't get why anyone would launch products without it 😅

There's always lovely feeling when you have trials coming in all day but no cancellations at all on the latest version! 💪

In other news, shoutout to @thsottiaux, I'm having to push incredibly hard to get out whatever I can between resets 😅 The stark contrast atm is incredible.
Despite my attempts and /feedbacks, this never got sorted smh. Burnt through my $200 allocation so fast. Ended up using >$200 in the API since we had the credits but a shame. Feels like I need 100k more followers to get a response from the @ClaudeDevs team 😭

Good to take stock of where you are at the start of the week: - 100s of paid customers monthly - 100s of pieces of content daily - Enjoying watch it compound - Plans to scale it further - Agents running now

Btw @marclou, added a second source on my TrustMrr, and it stopped registering the primary source of income in the charts. Removed the second source to try and fix it and but the primary source never got restored. I can't trust the MRR ironically 😅 P.S. I have 3 sources :)

Last point here but I remember DM'ing @garrytan on insta when I just got into startups back around 2020, and I asked why his old startup failed. One thing he said was something like: "Didn't charge enough". Not to be pessimistic, but price wars is often a losing mindset.
Welp... Case and point, if you get into undercutting wars: - You'll never be the cheapest - Price isn't a business proposition, it's defining the value of your offering - You're devaluing your own time and effort - I have no confidence

Why pay $29 when you can get it for free? traks.dev Traks is MIT licensed and runs in your own Cloudflare account. Sign in with Cloudflare and it installs in one click: no terminal, no Node. Updates are one click too. Already used by 100+ Cloudflare users. It scales because your history goes to Iceberg tables on R2 object storage, not a database that fills up. • realtime visitors on a live map • funnels, goals, page paths • ChatGPT/Claude/Perplexity traffic as its own channel • bots classified, not just dropped • MCP server so your coding agent can query your analytics What it doesn't do yet: Stripe revenue by source. Which is on the roadmap. Want something else? PRs are welcome.

When indies replicate a product and their main selling point is "this is cheaper",... ... I get it but you're branding communicates that your product is "cheap". You're better off competing on the offering and charging as much as you need rather than undercutting.
