The fruit (singular, it seems) of the Spirit IS, collectively, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
The fruit in Galatians 5:22-23 is not a fruit bar where I choose the fruit I want or reject. The fruit IS all of it.

In a world full of people who are are consumed with fear, those who operate from a place of peace have a competitive advantage.
Make your mindset a priority.
“Healthy culture produces trust, unity, accountability, joy, and resilience. Toxic culture produces fear, ego, blame, silence, and division.” - Shan Smith in The Soul of a Team
Somebody out there needs to take 2 minutes and read this today.
"This is the picture of grace. It’s not a reward for people who finally got it together; it’s a rescue extended to people who couldn’t." - Charles Stanley

"Whatever your life looks like, time spent with Jesus is never wasted. Others may not always notice what you’ve done. But hopefully they’ll come to recognize Who you’ve been with." - Charles Stanley
"We sometimes imagine the Christian life is about becoming impressive for God. But Scripture gently tells a different story. The Lord isn’t seeking people with the right résumé; He’s looking for those who will sit near Him long enough to be changed by Him." - Charles Stanley
Goals.
"Now as they observed the confidence of Peter and John and understood that they were uneducated and untrained men, they were amazed, and began to recognize them as having been with Jesus." - Acts 4:13
Very much true. Also, very obvious in all areas of leadership (Boss, Pastor, Coach, etc.)
There is a hidden cost when coaches fail to manage their own stress.
Your players can see and experience it.
A 2017 study found that elite athletes will detect a coach’s stress through changes in communication, behavior, and emotional expression.
Most importantly, players perceive stressed coaches as LESS effective leaders.
The lesson here isn’t that coaches shouldn’t feel stress.
It’s recognizing that how you regulate yourself is a fundamental leadership skill and critical to your overall effectiveness and impact.

When it’s difficult.
When things aren’t going your way.
When you’re struggling to make progress.
When doubt tries to creep in.
Keep believing. Keep showing up.

Be great without being high maintenance. Show up on time, wear the right gear, be coachable, support your teammates & give 100% every practice & game. High maintenance is hard. Coaches love low-maintenance players who buy in & make the process fun. You’re what makes coaching fun!

Insecure people stay locked on their critics, and half the time those critics only live in their head.
Secure people stay locked on their purpose.
Focus is a controllable.
It's wild and scary how easily we can rationalize some of our sin to make it seem OK and acceptable as a necessary part of our lives.

Your mind will follow whatever you feed it.
Want better thoughts? Consume better things.
There are many people we admire who are seeking the Lord yet have major flaws that the Lord is adamantly opposed to, and He is pruning away. Because we admire the person, we allow ourselves to imitate them, flaws and all. That isn't wisdom. Jesus said, "Follow me." That's wisdom.

Most people keep a running list in their head of everything they've gotten wrong. Hard to dwell on that and expect to get better.
Of course you need to know what to work on but don't forget to remind yourself of what you do well.
Work from confidence, not disappointment.

Culture is not posters on walls. It’s people who live the core values written on them.
