To keep the economy healthy, we rebalanced how gathering works.
Every player now has access to two new Effect Skills: Lumberjack and Miner which can be accessed through the quests.
Level them up to deal more damage to trees and resource nodes, unlock powerful gathering bonuses, and significantly improve your material farming over time.
We also introduced a new marketplace fee system that rewards long term holders.
The less you hold, the higher your selling fee. Sellers with no $Islands now pay a 30% marketplace fee, while holders gradually unlock lower rates. Own 5,000,000 $Islands and your fee drops to just 5%.
Hold more. Pay less.

Three days ago, we removed a rule from Islands.
Before that, selling on the player market required a Market License. Only 542 players ever held one. Everyone else could only buy.
On Saturday evening, we removed the license.
Now, any hero above level 10 can sell.
License veterans keep their bonus listing slots.
What happened next (72 hours):
• 6,001 new listings
• 1,097 trades
• 139 sellers, 93 buyers
• $1,480.48 in volume
And as always, it ends at the same place:
This morning at 06:55 UTC, the treasury burned 5,657,500 $Islands in a single transaction.
11.87% of all $Islands that will ever exist.

You do not need to be level 60 to raid on the Islands.
The Shallow Trials take heroes from level 5. Same lobby at Bram, same party tools, a real multi-map dungeon sized for early heroes. Clearing it guarantees a gear roll, and the boss can drop a Tier 3 pet egg.

🛡️ Both players’ Guardians are disabled for the duration of the duel. No outside help, no third-party interference. Just you and your opponent.
🐾 Pets are optional. The challenger can choose between “With Pets” and “Without Pets.” The selected rule is displayed directly on the duel invitation and applies equally to both fighters.
🚫 Healing is completely disabled while the duel is active. No meat, no potions, no life leech, and no other healing effects. Buffs activated before the duel will remain active.
