"@dcms has commissioned an initiative to make data about volunteering more accessible. [The project will] develop a common standard for data collection across various volunteering platform providers" I can't believe no-one has thought of this before! 😜 civilsociety.co.uk/news/char…

Hey, @grok, who was the most famous person to visit my profile? It doesn't need to be a mutual, don't tag them, just say who it was.

I’m really forward to this event. Bringing unused and underused church land and property back into productive use for the community couldn’t be more timely.
Next Monday, we're bringing together experts and leaders from the faith, civil, academic and property sectors to share our vision for how unused church land and property can be used to serve local communities.

Pleased to have been interviewed by @louisetickle for @ObserverUK on behalf of @prisonadvice . Sadly, ‘Lollipop’ portrays realities faced by all too many mothers leaving prison. Why Pact Social Workers and Family Resettlement Workers are so needed.
My piece for @ObserverUK on the real life stories informing @dsyhdsn's hardhitting but also, somehow, uplifting – and beautifully acted – feature film 'Lollipop', about a woman bashing up against state intransigence on her release from prison. observer.co.uk/culture/film/…

… although I wouldn’t differentiate “church” and “charity” in the way Jon does. I prefer to follow Pope Benedict in *Deus Caritas Est*
