If you know someone who currently works in real estate, keep in mind that in the last 5 years they have: 1) Come thorough a pandemic where they were told for a period of time they couldn't meet with people and in some states weren't allowed to prospect on the phone 2) Endured a bogus class action lawsuit that completely changed the way their industry practiced real estate and in some cases, negotiated for and collected the commissions they rely on to survive 3) Just completed a year with the least number of transactions and the most number of agents to compete with in decades My advice... rather than question if they do more than just open doors 🙄, you might be better served to buy them a coffee and ask for some business advice or lessons on perseverance.
