Jen Pawol will become the first female umpire ever to work a regular season Major League game during this weekend’s Marlins-Braves series in Atlanta.
Pawol, a Minor League Umpire since 2016, is one of 17 current Triple-A call-up umpires eligible to substitute in Major League games. She will work the bases in both games of Saturday’s doubleheader.

Fierce. United. Victorious. This is the Hofstra Pride.
We are excited to introduce the new Hofstra Pride Athletics logo! It is filled with strength, heart, and unity that defines champions and roars with purpose. Two lions, one male and one female, stand side by side, representing the equal power of our men’s and women’s teams. Together, they embody one Pride. One fight. One legacy.

Proud of the work we have done in conjunction with the @HerbertSchoolHU in the Tony Cavallaro Control Room. Today’s @HofstraBaseball game was the 50th out of the control room this year & Hofstra students ran the whole broadcast for the final few innings. 👏 Hofstra Sports Media!
Honored to take part in the official dedication of the Tony Cavallaro Control Room in the @HerbertSchoolHU at @HofstraU earlier today. Special day for all involved.
Incredibly fortunate to have leaders like @CoachJayH come back 🏡 and speak to our leaders of tomorrow.
Thanks to @HofstraPride and the Pride Leadership Academy for having me back on campus to talk about my journey, coaching, and about Rep Your Story!
