every product i use should just be a headless mcp, that feeds into an agent, where i never have to think about anything underneath. except for our product, of course. in our product, customers love the ui and love us very much. we're special that way.

I moved to LA in 2014 to build a social app. it failed. I then built products for Kanye West and Rae Sremmurd, then took an engineering role in the 18+ industry. the side quest became my career. part 1 of how i accidentally got into payments:

we're sponsoring the last LA Fintech happy hour of the year. LA has a low key slept on fintech community. I want to make sure we do our part to continue to grow up. if you're a founder, investor, or operator in LA, come grab a drink with us, talk payments, and complain about Money 20/20 moving to the convention center next year luma.com/up7jckoc

gas stations realized the real money wasn't in gas. it was in everything sold around it. payments is having its convenience store moment. if you're just moving money and charging a fee, you're in trouble. wrote about why payments companies are dying.

We're thrilled to announce the Superpower Peptide Library. Every peptide, mapped to the body. 152 peptides, from approved drugs to compounds still in trials, sorted by where they act. Each one has its own page, reviewed by a physician and fully cited, covering: - the evidence and how strong it is - its FDA status - it's mechanism of action - what studies in humans have found Because not all peptides are equal. Semaglutide is FDA-approved. BPC-157, maybe the most talked-about peptide for recovery and repair, is not. In a 2025 review of its research, 35 of 36 studies were in animals or the lab. Know the science before you buy the hype. Check it out here: superpower.com/guides/peptid…

we've blocked 8.3% of gaming and prediction market transactions for geocompliance in the last 30 days. that's nearly 1 in 12 transactions that might otherwise have been approved by a processor without the same location controls. in regulated markets, knowing where someone is transacting from matters just as much as knowing who they are.

Saw "You Can See Everything" last night. Most people are convinced Holmes is a master manipulator, and maybe she is, but after watching the "Who's on First" scene I wonder if she simply doesn't have much going on upstairs/ lacks common sense. She also seemed to read off a sheet when describing to Nathan Fielder what "the device can do." Shouldn't she know that by heart? The documentary had me questioning the role of all the various "handlers" in her life as we seem to witness with Billy, but at the same time, I was aware that everyone in the documentary, including the audience, was being manipulated while also playing the role of the manipulator. Very very interesting look at the things humans are capable of.

Pretty much. As of the past few weeks, debt markets have almost entirely shut off access to money for any company that doesn’t have substantial revenue independent of AI data centers. SpaceX closed $40B of debt for GPUs, but we’re investment grade and have Starlink & launch revenue. That means the 200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation. Some will make it through, but not many.

By far the most plausible explanation, IMO
Really don't think I've seen a single person give an accurate reading of Elizabeth Holmes' whole deal: that she likes to psychically offload the complexities of life to controlling men so she can retreat and live her dream of playing scientist.

we've been shipping a lot of improvements to Frame lately, but one of the biggest is coming this week. one piece of feedback we've heard was that our dashboard was confusing. payments and compliance were grouped together in ways that made sense to us internally, but not always to the platforms using it. fair criticism... so we fixed it. the new dashboard gives each product a clearer home and makes it easier for us to introduce new features across financial services and compliance. we're rolling out launching v2 of our Transfers API. it supports bidirectional money movement across cards, bank accounts, and wallets. oh, and accounts on Frame can now hold balances too 👀 a lot more coming.

the last ~week or so has been one of our harder stretches. there's a side to scaling a company that doesn't get talked about enough. some days you feel like you're on top of the world. other days you're doing everything possible to hold it all together...with a smile on your face so nobody knows just how hard the day really is. I've been doing this long enough to know that the weeks you struggle through often become the stories you remember most. we've been through plenty at Frame. every time, we've found a way forward. this time was no different. onward.
