I'm a 7th-gen Floridian. The story of FL over the last 50 years is awful people moving here, plowing over the orange groves, replacing them with stucco cubes, complaining about the heat, talking about how good it is back up north, while still rooting for their old sports teams.
I was kind of sad about the possibility of winning the first World Series on the road, but this is fine

You know what wrecked me when I was newly Christian? Genesis 22. For years as a Muslim, I was told the story was about Ishmael. Then I actually read it. I think the bigger topic isn't Isaac or Ishmael. It's this: Why would God ask Abraham to sacrifice his son in the first place? What kind of God does that? The answer hit me like a freight train, because it shattered my Muslim worldview. God wasn't being cruel, He was painting a picture. Abraham never goes through with sacrificaing Isaac. God stops him, then God provides a ram in his place. That action is not just a test or an isolated story: That's prophetic. It's a blueprint. The blueprint goes: A father. A son. A sacrifice. A substitute. You see where I am going with this. Genesis 22 is actually the heartbeat of the Gospel. God was foreshadowing the day when He Himself would provide the sacrifice. Not for one man. Not only for one family. But for the whole world. Of course, salvation wasn't earned by Abraham's performance. It came through God's provision. You can recieve this substitute and gift. Here's what made me stop and think: The Quran retells the story of Genesis 22, but removes the name of the son. Why? Because once you start following the thread through Genesis, the prophets, and the covenant promises, you eventually have to wrestle with the Lamb that comes later. You have to wrestle with Jesus. The perfect sacrifice that every previous sacrifice pointed toward. And that's when I realized: The story was never ultimately about Abraham. It was always about what God was going to do for us. And there's nothing we can do to earn His approval! We can only receive the sacrifice He already provided.

As Ron DeSantis enters the final weeks of his governorship of Florida, look at what he has accomplished. His record is nothing short of miraculous and may be the single most effective governorship in the history of the United States. Let’s remember…. He was the first to stand up to crazy COVID restrictions and reopen schools and businesses, he led the nation in school choice with more than half 1 million families now in the school of their choosing, he eliminated state debt and left the state with 18 billion in rainy day funds, and most importantly he signed the Heartbeat Protection Act, which ended most abortions after six weeks. Everyone I know who lives in Florida says it is the most well-run state in the country. Well done governor!🙏

11, 12 and 14 years old Raped for days by more than 20 Pakistani immigrants. Tortured—one had her tongue nailed to the wall to keep her still while they raped her. The police ridiculed, insulted, and ignored them. The feminists turned the other way. If it hadn't been for Elon Musk, who publicly shared the trial testimonies, sparking outrage from Reform UK and internal investigations, no one would have known anything. You're not angry enough.

It was a fantastic season, Rays. I'm so proud of this team. I hate that it's going to end on this note, but y'all were a fun team to watch. (Yes, I know it's only game 3, but no team has ever come back in the WS down 3 - 0)

🚨 LISTEN: 911 call DEBUNKS viral claim. The league director reported a disruptive parent following him, insulting him and recording him for Instagram. “There's a parent here just really, really disruptive. Like following me, following me around and talk-- calling me names in, in front of this whole bunch of people that's here, so I want her to be gone.” Police were not called because her son scored too many goals. The viral narrative was nonsense. 🤦🏽‍♂️

I love it when people who hate Jews say that I'm not a real Christian because I don't also hate Jews.

Heartbreaking, Christians are literally being buried alive in Congo. Despite Muslims making up just 1.5% of the population, Islamic gangs are trying to take over the country. They are also setting Christian villages on fire, kidnapping women, and beheading innocent people. But since they are not Palestinian or Muslim, the media remains silent.

So glad Obama got us the affordable care act to make health care so much more affordable…
BREAKING: The average cost of a family’s annual health insurance premium in the US is up +$1,303 YoY, or +5%, to a record $28,303. This marks the 4th consecutive annual increase of at least +$1,300. Over this period, the average annual premium for family coverage has surged +$5,884, or +26%. To put this into perspective, CPI inflation has risen +13% over the same period, or half as much. Since 1999, the average health insurance premium for a family has soared +$22,494, or +387%. This represents an average annual growth rate of +6.1%, well above CPI inflation at +2.6% over the same period. Health insurance has never been more expensive.

James Talarico is a chameleon and a fraud.
Talarico is a far-left extremist and a pathological liar. I combed through the available record. I compiled 34 clips showing Talarico's extreme views and the lies he now tells to hide them from voters. All in his own words.

Miami's stadium is half empty in spite of the fact that they're currently undefeated. It's just embarrassing. I've said it before and I'll say it again: The Miami Hurricanes have the worst fan base in all of sports, at any level. It's seriously an awful culture.

With all due respect, @johnrich, while I love John Anderson, as a 7th generation Floridian, I think it's a bad idea to make "Seminole Wind" the state song. Our song is "Old Folks at Home" (Way Down Upon the Swanne River) and it should stay that way.

NEW: Multiple federal sources confirm to @FoxNews that the suspect arrested for using a sledgehammer to behead a WW2 Iwo Jima monument in Quantico, VA on Tuesday is a Mexican illegal alien & former DACA recipient whose legal status expired this year. Miguel Alonso Maldonado Soriano has now been charged with felony destruction of property and trespass with intent to damage property. Per federal sources, Soriano illegally crossed into the U.S. in December 1999. He was granted DACA by the Obama administration in 2014 and had it extended for years, most recently by the Biden admin in 2024, but he lost his DACA status in August of this year when it wasn’t renewed by the Trump administration.

Europe's Muslim population was ~37M before 2000 and is projected to hit 58M by 2030. Accounting for roughly 6% of the European population in 2011, Muslims are expected to represent about 8% by 2030. pewresearch.org/religion/2011/… soerenkern.com/pdfs/islam/Mus…
