When Gary Lineker was preparing to leave Barcelona in the summer of 1989, he was away with the England squad in Denmark for an end-of-season friendly. Lineker was 28 years old and had spent three seasons in Spain, but Barcelona manager Johan Cruyff had been playing him out on the wing rather than in his usual position as a striker. He had decided it was time to return to English football and was considering his options. While away with England, Lineker was sharing a hotel room with goalkeeper Peter Shilton. Shilton had previously spent seven years playing under Brian Clough at Nottingham Forest, winning two European Cups in the process. One afternoon, Lineker was in the bathroom when the telephone in their hotel room started ringing. Shilton answered it. Lineker could hear his roommate talking through the bathroom door, but something about his voice seemed different. “He was an incredibly confident guy with everybody.” “I thought, ‘That doesn’t sound like Shilts, he sounds like he’s a little bit nervous here’.” A few moments later, Shilton shouted for Lineker to come out of the bathroom. When Lineker appeared, Shilton covered the telephone’s mouthpiece and told him who was calling. “It’s Brian Clough.” Lineker took the phone. “Young man, have you washed your hands?” “Yes I have, Mr Clough.” “Son, call me Brian.” Clough was still managing Nottingham Forest and had just guided them to victory in the League Cup. But he wasn’t calling Lineker to talk about his time at Barcelona. He wanted to know whether the England striker was available. “Tell me, are you signed, sealed and delivered?” Lineker explained that he hadn’t committed himself to another club and was still considering his options. Clough got straight to the point. “Would you consider coming to Nottingham Forest?” Lineker hadn’t expected the question, but he knew he wanted to move somewhere else. “No, not really.” “If I was coming back to English football, it would have to be to one of the big clubs.” At that moment, Shilton buried his head in his pillow. He knew exactly how his former manager was going to react. “Nottingham Forest is a big club.” “There’s only Liverpool who have won more than us in the last 10 years.” Lineker hadn’t meant to insult Forest. But he had already dug himself into a hole. He tried to explain that he had grown up in Leicester and didn’t particularly want to move to Nottingham. “You know what I mean, Brian.” Clough had heard enough. “No I don’t.” “Call me Mr Clough.” And he hung up. #football

Back in 2022–23, I argued that Binance appeared to be selling more claims on BTC and ETH than it could actually honour. Or exists... If the backing falls short, blaming somebody else offers a wonderfully convenient reconciliation: the assets remain missing, but the responsibility is transferred in full. One must admire the efficiency. Moving the blame apparently requires neither reserves nor proof of anything.

What if the greatest consequence of digital cash was never the money itself, but what people could finally own, control, create, and prove?

The reason why Binance is doing this is because they took billions of dollars of customer deposits and lost that money on bad investments, risky internal trades, and illiquid assets. They dont have enough cash to pay everyone back if all their customers ask for their money at the same time. This RECENT BITCOIN WILL PLUNGE , started a bank run started. Customers saw the crypto market crashing and began withdrawing their funds faster than Binance could replace them. Binance realized they were about to run out of money. If they simply paused withdrawals and admitted they were broke, the public would panic, the company would crash immediately, and executives would go to prison for financial fraud. They needed a massive, catastrophic excuse to legally lock the exit doors and wipe out their debt without taking the blame. Faking a massive cyberattack gave them that exact excuse. By moving the money into secret wallets and yelling they were hacked, Binance created a global emergency. They immediately froze all customer accounts so no one could take any more money out. They erased the missing money from their accounting books by labeling it as stolen property. They deliberately manipulated the system so that stablecoin companies permanently froze billions of dollars in customer funds, meaning Binance never has to pay that money back. Finally, they pointed the finger at North Korea so the FBI wastes time chasing a foreign enemy instead of auditing Binance's internal financial records. Binance faked this hack because it is the only way a broke bank can survive a massive bank run.

Binance 🚨🚨is balance sheet restructuring & trying to stop a bank run that was likely already forming due to their internal bad debts or fractional reserve practices. . Binance is facing a massive liquidity crisis (maybe due to bad loans, FTX-style internal trading desk losses, or regulatory freezes). They need to lock up $6.3 billion in user funds without admitting insolvency. 🚨 They engineered a "hack" using the EIP-7702 vector. They move the funds to wallets they control. They freeze $3B of it (to stop the bank run on their own exchange) and let $3.3B "escape" into dormant BTC wallets and Uniswap swaps (which are likely wash trades back to their own market makers). They crash the market 4-5% to liquidate short positions and scoop up cheap assets. 🚨 Look at the forensic breakdown of the attack. In the span of 20 minutes, the attacker drained funds across ten different blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron, Solana, XRP, Optimism, and Avalanche. 🚨 These blockchains do not share the same cryptographic curves or key types. Bitcoin uses ECDSA (secp256k1). Solana uses Ed25519. XRP uses its own variant of ECDSA. A single compromised laptop does not possess the magical ability to sign valid transactions across ten fundamentally different cryptographic architectures in 20 minutes. As TRM Labs explicitly noted in the forensic data, a single phished Ethereum authorization cannot explain Bitcoin, Tron, XRP Ledger, Solana, and layer-2 transfers all occurring simultaneously 🚨 If a real hacker compromised their laptop, they would have to navigate Binance’s internal infrastructure to access 10 separate, isolated hot-wallet signing services, bypassing hardware security modules and multisig requirements for each individual chain. That takes hours or days of lateral movement, not 20 minutes. 🚨 The only entity capable of executing simultaneous, validly signed withdrawals across ten different chains in 20 minutes is the exchange’s own internal automated withdrawal engine —🚨 According to the on-chain data, the attacker took 325 million USDT and swapped it for Ethereum on UniswapX at a 10 percent discount, paying a massive premium for speed. Professional market makers absorbed that trade. Why would an external hacker take a 10 % haircut on an irreversible, unsanctioned swap when they control the wallet? They wouldn't.⚠️⚠️🚨 Furthermore, the Bitcoin stolen was split into exactly 1,000 BTC chunks across 17 new wallets and then sat completely dormant. 🚨 It was not laundered. It was not moved to a mixer. It was organized into clean, institutional-sized blocks and parked. Hackers do not park stolen funds in neat, 1,000 BTC increments. Institutional custodians do this when they are restructuring balance sheets or moving funds to cold storage under their own control.🚨 The attacker even routed test transactions back to itself before the main sweep. This is the behavior of an internal engineer testing a deployment script.🚨 —- Binance is doing exactly what FTX did before its collapse, just with a more sophisticated smokescreen. They have halted withdrawals. They are promising to make users whole with money they do not have. 🚨 Within the next 30 to 60 days, Binance will slowly resume withdrawals for small retail users to maintain the illusion of solvency. Large institutional whales will find their accounts frozen indefinitely pending "investigation" into the hacked funds. The $3.3 billion in Bitcoin and Ethereum currently sitting in dormant wallets will not be recovered. It will be slowly commingled with other exchange flows over the next year to quietly plug Binance's internal holes. 🚨 You are watching a bank robbery designed to hide the fact that the largest exchange on earth is out of money. - kenhuangus.substack.com/p/ho… nbcnews.com/business/markets…

Nobody talks about the other Mt Gox number. 2014 notice: almost all of ~850,000 BTC lost, 199,999.99 found. The other number is a date. The repayment deadline was Oct 31, 2026. Tomorrow. On Oct 16 the trustee moved it to Oct 31, 2027. Meanwhile, MtGox’s disgraced CEO, Mark Karpeles, hasn’t done much lately, except put up a website alleging some Aussie guy shouldn’t be trusted…

All you have to do is acummulate BSV.. That's it. Go and live your life, get off Twitter, and buy BSV every week until it's $10,000. You've already won. You just don't feel that way yet. The only difference between the future and the past is experience. Both are set in stone.
