The chat will be about whether @VenusWilliams should continue getting Wild Cards when she loses yet again in 1st rnd of @GuangzhouOpen . But the real focus should be on teenager Lilli Tagger who beat her 6-2, 6-2 -- the @Austrian is starting to turn heads with her lovely one handed backhand.
Why is doubles in tennis continues to be treated like the poor relation? The question is asked in an informative blog on realitytennis.WordPress.com. It pin points one example of why the singles/doubles argument is picking up speed in the wake of the @ATPTour 's threat to cut doubles draws & prize money. Yes, money is at the core of the complaint about doubles but too little imagination is being used to find a solution. @HenryPatten will be interested.

If X editors are pretending no one has checked out of my account - thus providing space for new additions - I suggest they are either lying or can't add. No one is immune from Tweeters leaving over a 72 hour period. That just doesn't happen. So when I try and add a new follower. stop pretending there is no space. Please.

There was a point in time where this was the biggest threat to this country and many people, myself included, thought there was no way it could get worse. JFC!!!! Now look back

Maybe some people have forgotten that the @Republican attempt to charge @Comey for the THIRD time is one of the more ironic absurdities at this crazy moment in US politics. Had it not been for Comey's decision to release a @HillaryClinton email a few weeks before the election, we would have been spared all this agonizing rubbish. There would have been every chance Hillary would have won & become President. So instead of attacking Comey, they should heaping him with gratitude.

I am looking at Talarico, studying him: no alarm bells, no sick feeling, no urge to call the White House and warn them of some monster who will one day make people's lives a Hell. All is quiet. Pax Talarico. 😊

Ten years ago today.
In just the last few days: Trump made a deal for the U.S. to buy Russian diesel, an economic lifeline for Putin; he and Elon Musk blamed each other for an order that slowed down Starlink satellite connectivity over Ukraine, hampering the country's defenses during a devastating Russian attack; and Trump waived sanctions on Russia that Congress, led by his late friend Lindsey Graham, had pushed for.
Now, Putin has proposed a summit with Trump and Xi to decide Ukraine’s fate for them, bulldoze a century of international cooperation, and frame Russia as an equal to the U.S. and China.
We’ll see if Putin’s puppet continues to dance on his strings.

Why is Trump making so many concessions to Russia now?
I think it's three things.

The corruption that is putting money in Trump's pockets is costing all of us.

I saw no women being assaulted. I saw no nose picking. I saw no ear wax eating. I heard no stories about men’s asses. I heard no strange burping noises, no slurring, no moaning.
And I heard no songs about homosexual hook ups at the local gym while an old fat man wearing makeup danced like he was wanking 2 giraffes.
I didn’t see or hear any of that during Barack Obama’s speeches today.
Just an adult speaking in complete sentences to an audience who appreciated every word.
It was nice.

On MSNOW, I slammed corporate media for outrageous double standard when it comes to Abdul El-Sayed where they demand he denounce every fabricated link to extremism. But they don't press his opponent Mike Rogers to denounce Trump for his Jan. 6 terrorist attack & for pardoning J6 attackers

For those who have not yet voted, this is @davidjollyfl. The election for Governor provides a clear contrast and a clear choice. Watch this, and then vote for David.
DAVID JOLLY WILL BE THE NEXT GOVERNOR OF FLORIDA!!!

No amount of money can stop a movement built on the basic principles that have made America strong.
Thanks to Bill Hemmer and Dana Perino for the invitation to talk about the coalition we're building across Florida.
