realized this is my first ever Lars Von Trier movie.
anyway, i appreciate that Jack is just a huge loser who isn't even good at what he does, he's mainly just lucky. a real pretentious dork.
avenged sevenfold has been my go to "shitty band that i say someone listens to when i want to make fun of their taste in music" and seeing this makes it so very justified
I actually fully embrace AI. While I love physical art and the talented people who create it (myself being one of them) I also think the majority of designers I have worked with over the past 20 years are lazy and allowed themselves to be replaced due to complacency and greed. I prefer my prompts and the collective hive mind and efficiency of the future. Just my opinion but I embrace it. Also it will absolutely kill us all.

Day 24 - Hell House LLC Lineage
the fist Hell House movie is so very good. the rest have been so very bad, and this one is probably the worst. this movie literally does not have an ending, it just ends.
since getting covid i can only sleep when i take nyquil, and i still wake up every hour or so and have weird dreams. read that covid can cause insomnia, and it can last years. so thats fucking cool.

also, like 10 minutes in i thought, "this looks like Astoria". then later on you see a fire ladder that says Astoria on it 😎
covid is weird because yesterday i had debilitating lower back pain all day, sitting or laying down hurt like hell in any position. was absolutely miserable pain and discomfort. then my wife made dinner, my first real food of the day, and it immediately stopped the back pain. 🤷♂️

i have watched all four Hatchet movies over the last couple days and--yes, i'm going to use this word again--they are all so fun and extremely dumb, and most importantly they know they are extremely dumb. practical effects rule.
i tried watching this like 5 years ago and turned it off after like 15 or 20 minutes because it was so unfunny. i guess its just one of those movies you have to see for the first time when youre 13, not when youre in your 30s
