If Western Christians ever woke up to God's provisions & promises, we'd be a real threat to the gates of hell. We've settled for institutional church instead 😴

I posed the following questions to him. I'm interested to see how he answers them.

@DiscoverJesus3 Four questions about your gospel: 1. If the cross merely demonstrated God's forgiveness, why was Jesus' death necessary? What did it accomplish? 2. Is salvation about imitating Jesus or union with Him in His death and resurrection (Rom. 6:3–6)?

The early church never universally taught ransom was paid to Satan. Jesus didn't say humility ransoms arrogance. He gave HIS LIFE as a ransom ~Mat 20:28. You're confusing redemption's fruits with its means. 1 Pet. 1:19 says we're redeemed β€œwith the precious blood of Christ”

@DiscoverJesus3 You dodged Mark 10:45: Jesus gave His life β€œas a ransom for many.” And Matt. 26:28 says His blood was shed β€œfor the forgiveness of sins,” not merely to demonstrate forgiveness. The prodigal son is a parable about repentance, not a denial of atonement.

@DiscoverJesus3 Your claim collapses under Jesus’ own words. Matthew 26:28: His blood is shed β€œfor the forgiveness of sins.” Mark 10:45: He gives His life β€œas a ransom for many.” Just because Jesus didn’t explain every detail of the atonement doesn’t mean He never taught it.

Calvinism requires people to embrace & believe absurd, God-slandering ideas about God, who IS love, & about His provision for salvation & transformation... yet Calvinists work diligently to convince everyone else that these are true, rational, reasonable, biblical "doctrines."

I've learned not to go around in circles with Calvinists. You're just too cemented into false "doctrines" to have any sort of reasonable, rational dialogue. Why do you think so many believers constantly oppose & expose Calvinism, as opposed to numerous other false "doctrines"?

You're too steeped in false calvinistic beliefs to recognize the simple, plain truth of my original post.

@Biblethumpingwi, The Westminster Confession (3.1) explicitly says God ordained β€œwhatsoever comes to pass.” That includes evil. Calvinists may distinguish decree from causation, but that doesn't erase the decree. Quote your own confession before accusing others of dishonesty.

The very typical hardness, condescension, and meanness exhibited by many Calvinists are apparent to those who have come against CalvinISM. I've rarely seen "attacks" upon CalvinISTS. Below is more confirmation by a calvinist.

Both questions are loaded with false assumptions. I never claimed salvation is earned by works or condemned anyone for trusting Christ. The real issue is whether saving faith can exist apart from repentance & obedience. Jesus rejects that notion (Luke 6:46; Matt. 7:21–23).

Clever satire, terrible history. Paul didn’t teach belief without obedience (Gal 5:6; 1 Cor 6:9–10). Jesus never called sacrifice β€œBaal”—he told a healed leper to offer Mosaic sacrifice (Mk 1:44). And Paul says he received the tradition that Christ died for our sins (1 Cor 15:3).
Paul dies and finally meets Jesus in the afterlife. Paul: I always assumed I'd understand everything once I got here. Jesus: You will. It's going to be a long afternoon. Paul: I'm so happy to meet you, Jesus! I led so many people to you. Jesus: (scratches head) Something must have gotten lost in translation. The Way is narrow and few find it. What exactly did you teach them? Paul: Well… that you were an atoning sacrifice and all they had to do was believe in you to be saved. Jesus: (sighs) I called the priests murderers when I stormed the Temple for a reason. Since you're dead now, I'll just tell you: those Levitical blood‑sacrifice passages came from Ugaritic texts. Jeremiah warned you many times β€” that's why I quoted him when I cleansed the Temple and freed the animals. It’s all Baal. Paul: (pause) All blood sacrifice? Jesus: All of it. And why did you teach them 'belief in me'? I said follow me, which means doing, not believing. Didn't you emphasize my ethical treatment of others? Paul: You mean telling women to be subject to their husbands, shun gay people, and ignore everyone who disagrees with their religious view? Jesus: Mindboggling. How did you get that from the Golden Rule? Well… you did get my name out there, I'll give you that. And I still love and forgive you. Paul: I was shipwrecked three times, beaten with rods, and stoned. I think that earns me a little creative license. Jesus: Yeah…traditionally that’s viewed as God’s disfavor, but hey, to each their own. But did you at least teach them the Good News? Paul: You mean justification by faith apart from works, inherited sin, universal human depravity, and abolishing the Law? Jesus: (flabbergasted) Son, none of that came from my teachings. Who were you listening to? Paul: I'd like to remind you I was caught up to the third heaven and had visions of you. I mentioned it. Several times. In writing. Jesus: Of who? I never knew you. Didn't you study under my brother, James the Just? I put him in charge of the Nazarenes before I left because he was the wisest and most righteous, and taught what I taught. Paul: Oh… that explains why everyone was listening to him. Jesus: (smacks head) - Katheryn Greenleaf

These people need prayer and the Lord's Mercy. Trying to have rational dialogue with hyper-grace deceivers only encourages them to continue peddling their heresy.
