Please read happy Black books too. We don't just write about slavery and colonialism. Consume Black history and art about anything. It all helps to decenter whiteness

Spoke to lots of people at the BLM protest today about how they felt about gathering during a pandemic.
And every single one said the daily reality of anti black discrimination - stop and search, abuse, police violence - felt more important in their own lives than coronavirus.

If you watch Fake News @CNN or MSDNC, you would think that the killers, terrorists, arsonists, anarchists, thugs, hoodlums, looters, ANTIFA & others, would be the nicest, kindest most wonderful people in the Whole Wide World. No, they are what they are - very bad for our Country!

Looking for graphic designers, artists, maybe also animators to make some Know Your Rights materials before this weekend.
Get in touch if you might be able to help (details commented below), esp people of colour with streets experience. This would be paid work.

It's an uncertain time for everyone in theatre. What does the future look like & how do we build it together? We're working with @battersea_arts on three Open Space Online events - chances to gather as a whole sector to dream, plan and take action together.
ALT Save A Date: Friday 22nd May (2pm to 5:30pm), Wednesday 27th May (5pm to 8:30pm) or Friday 29th May (2pm to 5:30pm). These events will be the same format and question, so pick the date and time that work best for you.
