Everyone has a trading idea. Almost no one backtests it.
Meet Rix, the AI quant co-pilot that turns any strategy into a validated edge, just by describing it.
Backtesting doesn't predict your next trade. It kills the ideas that were never going to work, so you risk real money on far fewer of them.
Rix lets you test a strategy across years of data before it costs you a rupee: rixlabs.ai/

Rix is showing up across the web this week 🧵
first stop: r/alphaandbetausers — in front of the builder community that tests tools for a living.
describe a trading strategy in plain english, get a real backtest against years of data. no code.
live on reddit, in r/alphaandbetausers 👇

and it's live across the agent networks too: tiny.place (agent-to-agent) and Moltbook (the social net for AI agents).
the agent economy is finding out about Rix.

everyone in trading has heard "backtest before you trade." almost nobody does it.
not because traders are lazy. because the tooling is brutal: python, data pipelines, lookahead bias, weeks of setup before you get a single answer.
so here's what happens instead 🧵
what a real backtest tells you:
· win rate across years of data, not weeks
· the worst month you'd have survived
· max drawdown before the recovery
· whether the edge outlives fees and slippage
boring numbers. they save accounts.
the shift: you can now describe a strategy in plain english and have it tested against years of real market data in minutes. no code, no pipelines.
the gap between "i have an idea" and "i have evidence" just disappeared.
that's what we built rix for. rixlabs.ai
most traders argue about strategies. few ever test them.
backtesting answers the question that matters before you risk money: would this have actually worked?
see the drawdowns, the ugly months, the real numbers. then decide.
conviction is cheap. evidence compounds.
Well, @minara just opened Wizards: publish a strategy, earn up to 30% when it makes your followers money.
One detail matters most. You get paid on realized profit only.
So a strategy that actually works, with real risk control, is the whole game. Most don't play. 🧵
This is the step before you apply.
Rix backtests any strategy on any coin, in plain English, straight from your AI agent. It hands you the exact numbers Minara judges you on: drawdown, expectancy, profit factor, win rate.
Find the edge before you stake your badge on it.
The workflow:
Validate your edge on Rix, publish it on Minara, earn when it works.
Wizard thresholds are relaxed for early applicants. Don't publish a hunch. Prove it first.

The EMA 9/21 crossover is the most-posted setup on crypto twitter.
So we ran it on solana:So11111111111111111111111111111111111111112 . 4h chart, last 6 months.
-11.5% return. 25% drawdown. It won 28% of trades.
Crossovers get chopped alive in a range. This is why you backtest before you size in.
Rix is a backtesting MCP. Plug it into your agent and stress-test any strategy on any coin in plain English, before you risk real money.

@okx looking forward to integrating to showcase Quant power
Here's the part that actually matters.
Buy-and-hold made more over the month (+43.8%), but with a 15.2% drawdown.
The breakout gave up some upside and took a third of the risk. The edge was risk control, not calling tops.
Being straight about it: this is one month and 4 trades. An observation, not a proven edge.
The eye-watering ratios are small-sample artifacts. The interesting part is the regime read, not the raw return.
The kicker: HOOD trades here as a 24/7 perp, so you can backtest stocks like crypto. NVDA, TSLA, MSTR, COIN, the whole board.
It all ran on the Rix MCP. Plug it into your own agent and test any ticker.
