It’s October, but that was a great win over Michigan for our @UHCougarMBK squad!
I really thought everyone that stepped on the court played well! I was super impressed with DJ, Chase, and Braden East today! But everyone played awesome! Total team win!
It gets real in 8 days!!! Can’t wait to see everyone at the Fertitta Center!! Go Coogs!!

I said it on the @NoConfForOldMen podcast. Corey Hadnot is lightning fast in transition.
Really good drive and kick in transition to Chase for three and a Michigan timeout.
Keep attacking the rim and getting to the free throw line!

They gonna need him and he will come through for them
University of Houston's basketball practice ended around 5:45 pm today, but transfer guard Corey Hadnot II was still on the court, completing extra shooting drills after 7:10 pm. Getting through the drills that assistant coaches Hollis Price, Anthony Goldwire and development coach Ryan Elvin prefer is not always for the faint of heart. With Hadnot going through what guys like Marcus Sasser and Quentin Grimes have gone through in the years before him.
So when Hadnot finally finished, Price, Goldwire, Elvin and all the managers staying late celebrated with the last guy in the gym for a moment.

Houston's Kelvin Sampson says his program's sustained success is recruiting high-character kids with parents who want their sons pushed hard. "Immature kids would struggle at our place."

This looks like a team that can make a Final Four run, and it's not an overreaction.
