The State and its army of NGOs can't provide young people struggling with their mental health with free, timely therapy services. So the people of Bray are stepping in. We're all volunteers. Zero overheads. No wages. No waste. 100% of funds raised go to end user. #Cabhair

Independent Ireland launches petition demanding public say on Triple Lock Michael Collins TD: “Irish neutrality belongs to the people of Ireland, not the Government of the day.” Independent Ireland has launched a public petition calling for the Irish people to have their say on the Government’s plans to remove the United Nations Security Council authorisation requirement from the Triple Lock. Independent Ireland had its own online public poll, which received thousands submissions from people across Ireland between 22 October and 9am on 25 October. Of those who participated, 96.7% supported a national plebiscite before changes to the Triple Lock, while 87.1% said they would not vote for the Independents in Government who voted to remove it. The results reflect the views of those who took part and are not a representative national opinion poll. However, Independent Ireland says the response demonstrates the strength of feeling among participants and reinforces the need for a wider public debate Recent national polling points to significant public support for retaining the existing safeguards. Michael Collins TD said: “Rarely has a Government pressed ahead with such a significant change when polling indicates substantial public support for retaining the Triple Lock. Our own poll attracted more than 4,500 submissions, with an overwhelming majority of respondents supporting a public say. “We recognise that polls do not represent every citizen, but the level of public concern demands that the Government listen. “The Nice Treaty debate and the assurances given to the Irish people in 2002 explicitly addressed military neutrality and the requirement for UN authorisation, alongside Government and Dáil approval, for relevant overseas deployments. If the Government now wants to remove a key safeguard, the Irish people should have the opportunity to decide. “Serving and former members of the Defence Forces have also challenged aspects of the Government’s justification for the change. The claims being made about the limitations of the current system deserve proper scrutiny and clarification, with the views of those who have direct operational experience taken seriously. "We are calling on elected representatives from all political parties and none to support this petition and demonstrate the cross-party unity this issue deserves. Presenting it to the Government, Oireachtas members and the Independents supporting Government will send a strong message about the depth of public support for retaining the Triple Lock and ensuring that any decision to change it reflects the will of the Irish people." “Irish neutrality belongs to the people of Ireland, not the Government of the day. We are calling for every available constitutional avenue, including Article 27 where its requirements can be met, to be considered so the public can have its say.” Independent Ireland is urging the public to sign and share the petition calling for a public say on the future of the Triple Lock. A 10 year old girl in State care. Charges dropped. No reason given. I respect the independence of the DPP. But independence cannot mean silence. The law gives victims the right to ask why a case was dropped and to seek a review. This child is in the care of the State. Tusla should be asking those questions for her, and it has only weeks to do it. And there is a simple question for the Department of Justice. A deportation order was reported to have been in place since May 2025. Why was it not enforced? People are entitled to answers.

Ireland's newly qualified graduate nurses are being left completely in the dark after the HSE suddenly paused new employment contracts due to strict hiring controls. Nurses who proudly accepted job offers over the summer—like Westmeath's Della Ní Chléirigh—are now receiving alerts that their start dates are on hold until further notice. While the HSE points to a severe budget deficit and heavy reliance on agency staff to justify these measures, frustrated graduates are left wondering how a healthcare system with such massive staff shortages can turn them away. Many are now facing financial uncertainty, with some even considering moving abroad or staying on jobseeker's benefits. Healthcare unions and political representatives are rightly calling out these restrictions as reckless and dangerous for patient care. #DellaNíChléirigh #HSE #NursingGraduates #Reckless

Massive, massive opposition to removing the triple lock. This will cost the Government.
OVERWHELMING RESPONSE TO TRIPLE LOCK POLL – NOW WE ARE TAKING THE NEXT STEP Sign the petition: independentireland.ie/petiti… Our public poll, which ran from Thursday, 22 October, until 9am on Sunday, 25 October, received an overwhelming response, with thousands of submissions recorded. The message from participants was clear: people want a say in the future of Ireland’s Triple Lock and the decision to remove the United Nations Security Council authorisation requirement for relevant overseas deployments. Among those who responded, 97.1% supported a national plebiscite before changes to the Triple Lock, while 87.1% said they would not vote for the Independents in Government who voted to remove it. These results reflect the views of those who took part in the poll and is backed up by media polls. They demonstrate the strength of feeling among participants on an issue of profound national importance. We will now proceed with a petition calling for the Irish people to have their say. We believe the future of Irish neutrality should not be decided without giving the public a meaningful opportunity to express its view. We will seek to have every available constitutional avenue considered, including the mechanism under Article 27 of the Constitution, which provides a process for certain Bills of national importance to be referred to the people. Article 27 has specific constitutional requirements and does not allow a public petition alone to trigger a referendum. Our campaign will call for the relevant constitutional process to be pursued and for the Government to respect the public’s right to have a say. Now is the time to turn that response into action. 👉 Sign the petition and help make the case for a public say on the Triple Lock: independentireland.ie/petiti… Please sign, share the petition with friends and family, and help ensure that the future of Ireland’s neutrality remains a matter of national democratic debate. @MichaelC_IND_TD @RichardODonoghu @kenoflynnTD @ciaranmullooly

Evident also during the Family and Care Referenda. The Government said outright (O'Gorman) that 'progressive' NGOs should back the changes or explain their reasons not to. There are laws in place which prevent the Government from spending our money campaigning for a particular outcome in a referendum (McKenna v. An Taoiseach (No. 2) ([1995] re the Divorce Referendum). So what do they do? Pour money into NGOs and tell them to do their campaigning for them. There are some fantastic NGOs out there. I run one of them. But it is a phenomenally bloated, overpaid and overly influential sector.
The Irish Government has confirmed that immigration NGOs are their strategic partners, with NGO funding reaching €11b in 2025.

Imagine being put on trial for a tweet? Two years, 10 court appearances and @Polito_loco is still battling. Take a look at the below - complete madness.
Ireland put the tweeter on trial, not the groper I cannot believe the resources the state has mustered to go after a guy for making a tweet. I'm writing this on the lunch break of Kirk Loco's trial in Bray, County Wicklow, about an hour south of Dublin. Kirk is being prosecuted for a tweet warning young women about migrant men harassing girls on a public bus. The tweet was true. And the man he warned about was in the courtroom today as the prosecution's main witness. I can't identify him. He's a refugee claimant, and the lawyers and police warned me not to say anything that could reveal who he is. I'll say only that he needed an Arabic translator. He testified he did nothing wrong, that he was just looking for a place to plug in his phone. Then he said his phone fell on the floor, which is why he got up and sat down next to the teenage girls. He never explained why he moved from the seat in front of them to the seat beside them, blocking the aisle. According to the girl, he groped her, his belt was undone and his pants were so low his pubic hair was visible. She was so frightened she fled downstairs on the double-decker bus. How do we know all this? There were about 10 CCTV cameras on that bus. They show him moving back and forth around the girl. They show that when the bus stopped and it was clear he was in trouble, he went to the back and played possum. Thirty-eight seconds from chatting to another passenger to out cold. The driver testified he was obviously faking. Asked about that, he told the court: “I'm known as a very quick sleeper.” I've been to 100 trials in my life, maybe more, and I don't think I've ever seen a shiftier witness. He took two or three positions on every question and switched mid-answer. I don't think the judge was buying it either. Laoise de Brún, the barrister we're crowdfunding for Kirk, sliced and diced him on cross-examination. It was like shooting fish in a barrel. Then a senior Garda took the stand and talked about the refugee accommodation at Newtownmountkennedy. He described the migrant men there as “vulnerable.” Irish teenage girls are allegedly being harassed, and the men are the vulnerable ones? He also described an incident where men from that centre were filming young girls at a sporting event. His response was to have them delete the videos — he deleted the evidence. There's a term in psychology, DARVO: deny, attack, reverse victim and offender. That's what I watched today. The whole system is upside down. The hero of this story, according to the prosecution, is a man who admitted touching this girl and having his pants down. The villain is the man who warned the neighbourhood. This is Kirk's 10th court appearance. He faces possible jail. The trial is only half over, and I'll have more from inside the courtroom. If you want to help pay for Kirk's lawyers, and for Hugh Fagan, who goes on trial Tuesday, please go to IrishFreeSpeech.com. I don't think I'm easily shocked. I've seen too much. But I have never seen anything like this. Ireland needs help. REPORT by @ezralevant:

Something strange about this case. The @rtenews report refers to 'False allegations, misinformation and disinformation' being circulated online. So is the suggestion here that there was no crime? Because according to the @IrishTimes, the man said after caution, “I just kissed her.” Isn't that an admission? Or does kissing a random 10-year-old girl not warrant a conviction for sexual assault? The public has a right to demand that this man is taken off the streets or better yet - put on the next plane out of here. rte.ie/news/courts/2026/1023…

Cuan's job is to tackle domestic, sexual and gender-based violence in Ireland. There are women stuck in abusive homes up and down the country because there are no beds available in women's shelters. And this advert - designed to challenge the scourge of affectionate grandparents - is what they are spending money on? Wasting money has real-world consequences. A mis-spent budget means someone stuck with an abusive partner longer than they had to be. Everyone involved in this decision - top to bottom - should be given their marching orders.
🇮🇪 The Irish state has published an advert discouraging grandparents from hugging their grandchildren, as part of a campaign designed to promote "consent".

We're at a point in which straightforward common sense sounds almost revolutionary.
Sinn Fein, Labour, Soc Dems and of course PBP want to deny biological reality and allow parents to put an "X" on a new born baby's birth cert. The bill will be voted down. @RichardODonoghu @kenoflynnTD @MichaelC_IND_TD

The French Prime Minister has just announced that the “far-left are planning an insurrection”. For years the media and establishment have warned about the threat of the “far-right”. In Ireland we have NGOs called “Far Right Observatory” or the “Hope & Courage Collective” receiving millions in Govt funding. Their sole purpose is to track the “far-right” by constantly drumming up fear, publishing rubbish reports and getting platformed on tv & radio. normal people who dared to speak out have been vilified. Venues willing to host meetings of concerned citizens are intimidated into cancelling the long march through the institutions worked. These people hold senior positions across universities, media, State boards & NGOs. The Reds are indeed under the bed!
A French woman says that the rioters and looters broke into her building and threatened her with rape while she was holding her child in her arms. “That’s collateral damage” responds the feminist activist Bettina Zourli who holds a Master’s in gender studies and focuses her work on gender norms, motherhood, reproductive rights, and voluntary childlessness (“childfree”) She describes herself as “feminist, childfree and Antifa” Zourli also says that all the stores getting looted also constitute a case of collateral damage and that the revolution, which she supports, must be violent. She has lectured in gender studies, including at the University of Lille and Université Rennes.
