No it definitely means the woman’s happiness matters more than the man’s. Lol I hate when y’all try to put your own spin on terms that have clear meanings because you know it’s some bullshit.
When people say “happy wife, happy life,” I don't necessarily interpret that as the husband being responsible for keeping his wife happy 24/7 or sacrificing his own happiness. I interpret it as the energy you pour into your marriage often determines the energy you receive back.

🗣️🗣️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ it should never be a excuse why you can’t be a parent
If you think it’s okay to go weeks, months or any period of time without being with your child (ren), man or woman, you’re a deadbeat. I work &still my kids be with me. I don’t respect anyone who’s prioritize outside life, relationships or terrible behavior or being a parent.

Shit I work, go to school, in a relationship and STILL have time for my child. She will always be priority.

The point is, NOBODY else has been given the same grace you’ve received entirely through your career. We’ve seen you wish AIDS on somebody’s mother, yet here you are in these rooms, that you throw in other peoples faces whenever you can. Never acknowledging the vile behaviour you seem to get away with, due to colourism. Nobody is checking for your success, however, theres been no other female rap artist who’s gotten the same push as you. Your success is more than just colourism, and that’s the part you keep ignoring. Your come up was based on getting someone else out the way with a machine spewing LIES from a smear campaign ultimately making you the victim in every scenario. You’ve benefited from an orchestral push, and has capitalized off of somebody else’s hate train because you were in on it. You took the deal. The glamour magic has worn off. You’re not a victim. Get a grip. You wanna be big dog but can’t handle the job. Colourism works in your favour because of how the way you were introduced in the industry. You were always the Damsel in distress. This is the least of what you can acknowledge and admit to.
The reason why im giving this statement is because ya like to clip my lives… So ima give ya this and go. If we going to talk about what I said lets talk about everything that I said in the 15 minute live from 2024 that got cut down to 13 seconds. I know that colorism is real  I never denied that I seen it for myself. When I worked in the strip club, I seen how men treated me and how they treated dark skin women… I can never dismiss how colorism affects dark skin women and men in general. Not just in the work place but in the justice system as well. And I have stood up for it plenty of times . But what Im always going to stand up for is that my skin tone is not solely the reason for my success. Maybe some of ya missed a chapter but let me tell ya a little bit about my come up… and I have the right to talk about it because it was my experience. When i was coming up people saw my skin last. They saw my teeth first.. the acne on my forehead.. my dusty braids and they called me a dirty stripper. I wasnt the traditional beauty standard that made a man or a label want to invest in me. My skin tone wasnt enough to convince anyone I was a star. Everybody said no!! they said it wasn’t gonna happen for me because i wasn’t the kinda woman people wanted to see. I had to work my ass off to get where I am ..I had to prove and I still gotta prove over and over again that im more than the way i speak.. more than the way i look.. and more than the color of my skin. This is the exact reason why I was defending myself then and im defending myself now. There are other light skinned women in this industry who got the same access as me but haven't gotten the same deals or opportunities as me and I addressed this on that live. and thats where it comes down to your true marketing value. I take pride in studying my audience learning the consumer and being reliable. Yes it may be easier for a light skin woman to get her foot in the door compared to a darker skin woman and ive never denied that.. but what keeps you in the room is the work… the strategy… the consistency AND the talent. I work hard to get in these rooms and I work harder to stay there… and I also work hard for ya cuz low key I work for you. The fans are the boss 😘   Am i upset with Mona?? Yes!!  You been in my DMs for years asking me about personal advice… surgery advice.. and career advice. If my success is because of my light skin why you asking me how to pitch yourself and how to get brand deals?? We have talked about so many different things and out of all the things we talked about why you couldnt ask me about a 13 second clip you saw from a 15 minute live in 2024 where i addressed everything that you bringing up? You went out your way to make a video with no context when this wasnt even a topic on no blogs and no platforms.. literally nobody was talking about this. Why would you go on your platform to talk about something you were misinformed about instead of doing your due diligence or at least hitting me up like you do about anything else? I know why … because you decided to use me and a sensitive topic as a scapegoat. a topic I havent talked about in years that you randomly brought up. And now im getting dragged for it. You used me as shield because you was under fire for the backlash you was getting for talking about Tia Kemp another black woman all because she was selling more tickets than you! Because according to you… Tia Kemp dont do stand up comedy to your taste. Why do you think youre more deserving than her? Because you light skinned with a fat ass??? Then you claim you were bigging me up.. same way you fake gave Tia some props and then tore her down… but what you was really doin was taking my success away and saying its all because of my skin tone. Whats that if its not colorism? I will never not acknowledge the prejudice in our system… we can acknowledge that reality without diminishing my accomplishments or my experience.

I really had to listen back to Mona’s comments on Cardi to see if I was tripping. How hard is it to understand wtf Mona said and acknowledge it as 1. TRUE, and 2. Not hate towards Cardi. Kinda wild. Comprehension levels be in the toilet when people feel like you coming at them.

I love Cardi, but if she or anyone else thinks she doesn’t benefit from colorism in any fashion, youre smoking crack.

All I got from this is that pussy weak.
Ari Lennox says she never climaxes from penetration and she has grown numb to penetration over time which she really blames on toys , weak performance from men and multiple s6x partners but she really hopes to find a partner who would understand her body better with time👀👀 Ari Lennox hards that she hasn’t been enjoying intimacy because she has been getting into it with men she isn’t emotionally or physically attracted too because s6x really does get transactional as you age👀👀💔

Cardi HEAVILY benefits from colorism and yes it does dwindle her artistry because She doesn’t write she has a violent history and has a reputation as an upstanding sweet person while also being gang affiliated. Meanwhile, her peers get treated like the help.

Yall desperately want men to suppress themselves to make you feel more than what you actually are to boost your ego, and niggas just aren’t going for that anymore. Sorry, ball up top though

realistically speaking , you cannot just make your wife happy if you’re not happy , love is supposed to be on equal standing ESPECIALLY marriage , if one person is happier than the other that’s where resentment enters
T.I. wasn’t buying into the whole “happy wife, happy life” saying “If it ain’t no happy me, it ain’t gon’ be no happy we” “Let’s ask Lil Wayne…” 💀😂 (📹 Royal Absurdities/YouTube)

Both parties should be pouring into each other. That’s the problem, if men have to do all of the emotional work or most of the work in a relationship, what is the point in being in 1 if it’s not reciprocal
When people say “happy wife, happy life,” I don't necessarily interpret that as the husband being responsible for keeping his wife happy 24/7 or sacrificing his own happiness. I interpret it as the energy you pour into your marriage often determines the energy you receive back.

It’s not an argument, I’m literally just telling you the reality. Of course care about your partner & be considerate of how they feel, but not over yours. You wouldn’t tell women to prioritize their feelings happiness for their mans, so I’m asking why should men do it ?
Replying to @RobGlo_
Why y’all so quick to argue ??? And be wrong tho. I just got out of school. Could’ve been a discussion. Why would anybody think that ?????????

That’s not the case. I think you, and any woman who agrees with this, doesn’t like men who prioritize their happiness. Y’all expect men to say fuck their happiness for yours only, and unfortunately for you, we don’t live in those times anymore
Men who think like T.I don’t respect or understand women as individuals or emotionally. Like who raised you
