Footage from Schinkenstraße near Bierkönig in Playa de Palma shows Palma police clearing unlicensed street vendors. Mostly irregular African migrants selling counterfeit goods, sunglasses, hats and toys. Vendors flee, goods scatter, some are restrained.
These “top manta” / “Helmut” sellers are a recurring problem tied to irregular immigration. Locals and German residents ironically cooperate with police to keep the streets clean—civilians even help restrain people in the clip. Enforcement is the response to demands for order.

In Milan and other Italian cities, rioters carrying Palestinian flags clashed with police, looted shops, and caused chaos during the October 2026 cost-of-living protests.
The same flag has repeatedly marked armed challenges to host governments and authorities:
- 1834 peasant revolt against Egyptian rule (Ibrahim Pasha) in Ottoman Palestine over conscription and taxes
- Multiple riots and the 1936–1939 Arab Revolt against the British Mandate
- Black September 1970, when the PLO and factions nearly overthrew King Hussein’s government in Jordan (thousands killed, PLO expelled)
- Fedayeen bases and raids under Egyptian administration in Gaza (1948–1967)
- PLO presence that helped fuel the Lebanese Civil War after expulsion from Jordan
- Widespread Palestinian support for Saddam Hussein’s 1990 invasion of Kuwait, followed by mass expulsions
