Well here it is.. My last shift with @StaffsRCT with a great team #Team4RCT before going on leave prior to retirement. It’s been an absolute pleasure to serve the communities of @StaffsPolice

This is why the team @StaffsRCT go out there on a daily basis, in an attempt to target such driver behaviour.. I personally attended this scene and saw the devastation caused. We make no apologies for enforcing the law on 🍺💊 Driving 👊

Our Road Crime Team (RCT) stopped 185 vehicles, arrested three drivers and dealt with motorists for dangerous driving habits in a week-long operation on Staffordshire’s roads last month.

This morning we had several calls reference a vehicle 'all over the road', M6 South @PoliceStafford
We responded and witnessed some of the worst driving we have seen for a while.. Driver was over the drink drive limit❗️#arrested & charged.

Stopped in #featherstone @PoliceStafford in order to check documents. Driver held a provisional licence however his "supervisor" had only held a licence for 4 days themselves❗️

Sighted on the M54 driving erratically & at speed. Stopped in #Coven @SouthStaffsLPT and driver issued with a Section 59 (ASB driving).
It got worse for them as they had borrowed the car from a friend without relevant insurance. #seized @DriveInsured

This corsa was prohibited by us in December due to dangerous defects.
The sprinter arrived today to recover it for the corsa owner, however they did not have insurance 🤦♂️ Van #seized & cable replaced on the corsa.

We helped this stranded vehicle on the M6 North @PoliceStafford earlier to get out of the live lane and into an emergency bay.
It's at this point we discovered the driver has no licence & no insurance 🙄 #seized @DriveInsured

This vehicle was stopped due to showing no insurance. We then discovered it to be a cloned vehicle, cloned to hide the fact that the true reg also had #noinsurance ❗️

Busy day today dealing with RTC's on the motorway due to people not driving to the conditions! ❄️
However, we still managed to #seize 9️⃣ vehicles for a mixture of #nolicence, #noinsurance & #disqualified driving.

The team @StaffsRCT #Team4RCT were out across the roads of @StaffsPolice last night, conducting numerous 🍺🥂💊🚗 tests. Thank you to the 2️⃣5️⃣ drivers who complied with a negative test. 1 female was arrested for a roadside reading of 1️⃣0️⃣9️⃣. Totally unacceptable ❗️#OpLightning
A busy day for the team @StaffsRCT. 1st job assisting @staffs_ciu 😔. Then onto making the roads of @StaffsPolice safer, by targeting those 🚗🚛🏍️’s who choose to commit offences .. A total of 31 drivers reported for various offences plus 1 arrest for 💊🚗. We are out there 👀👀
