I joke a lot about embracing "you can just do things." But it's just agency and desire. I know I'm very wired for it naturally, but wish more people would just do things. It's a lot of fun and very freeing to make life happen the way you want it to, whatever your "things" is
THE WAR ON ICE is the penultimate episode of my five-part @PanicPatrolShow experiment in AI storytelling.
Check it out + a few earlier attempts 🧊🧵👇
As the concept evolved, I even mocked up an animated version of the concept featuring a time-traveling panic detective named CAL ROOK who worked for THE DEPARTMENT OF FUTURE CORRECTIONS. 🚨
I’m still figuring out what I can do with these tools. Every version teaches me something new, and I’m having a blast making it! Mostly, I'm grateful to @PessimistsArc/@LouisAnslow & the old PA podcast by @heyfeifer, who I credit in the episode "receipts." 🫡

The Surrender at Yorktown
On October 19, in a spectacle incredible to all who witnessed it, most of Cornwallis' army marched out of Yorktown between two lines of allied soldiers, Americans on one side and French on the other, that stretched for more than one mile.
Happy Yorktown Day to all those who celebrate! 🇺🇸🇫🇷
A salute to Washington, Lafayette, Hamilton, and the American and French troops who helped make October 19, 1781, a very bad day for the British Empire.
Excellent work. No redoubts about it!

Good luck to all those who entered! 🫡
Did my best to avoid spoilers before walking in tonight but confess I saw one reviewer predict this film may win the Oscar for Beat Picture. I scoffed: “What?! Impossible! It’s a documentary!”
Little did I know…
Hats off to @nathanfielder & @lanceopp for the most genre-bending “documentary” since Exit Through the Gift Shop.
If that film was a “prankumentary,” this might be the first “doubtumentary.”
Go see it. Trust no one. And know as little as possible going in.
