Time to heed the warnings about Storm Eunice and stay at home. Through no fault of their own, the occupants of this car had a near death experience when a lorry blew over on top of them on the A6 at Dove Holes. Amazingly only minor injuries, dog ok too. #StormEunice #HighPeak

The A6 between Whaley Bridge and Chapel-en-le-Frith is now CLOSED in both directions due to a serious collision. We expect it to be closed well in to the evening so plan for delays and alternative routes. #Highways #Traffic #Travel #HighPeak

Apologies to our very own PC Jason #Potts but Twitter has focussed on you in these images but if expand the images you'll see the actual elderly subject. (PC Potts has perfect eyesight, he had it checked for his 70th birthday licence renewal) 😂 #TrafficCops

Last night, a special visitor was stranded mid-way through his #Derbyshire deliveries when his reindeer ran off with his sleigh. @DerbysCCSwann triggered Operation Ho Ho Ho - a contingency plan to deliver #Christmas in an emergency. This is how our midnight adventure unfolded...
