Driving Zodiac, Point Wild, Elephant Island, made famous by the Shackleton’s disastrous #Antarctica ‘Endurance’ expedition. Nice to be back here.

Tugboat operator would have left a crease in the seat. Wow.

WTF, $3000 Samsung TV has an always-on mic, automatic content recognition, geo tracking, network mapping, and ships your data to Samsung + 400 partners.
Bro Rooted a brand-new 2025 Samsung TV after noticing absurdly targeted ads.
Firmware was locked down, so zero-days it was.
Got a root shell.
then found: always-on voice service, ACR, geo, full telemetry pipeline, and four separate DRM systems.
This isn’t a bug, It’s the product bro.
The #SwissArmyKnifedog came up with a new trick for moving a shit of a young steer who got out on fresh grass and wouldn’t listen. Goooood girl Clem. Welsh cattle dog, Pembroke corgi. Get some mongrel in ya girl!
Ai will completely destroy the existing internet and every institution on earth will be forced to decouple from it to avoid being hacked.

Last #NZ election, 450,000 of the special votes cast were by those who enrolled in the 2 weeks before the election. 110,000 enrolled on the day. This is the scale of the potential disenfranchisement of the Govt law change stopping enrolment on 25 October:

I don't really get all the fuss over politicians visiting gangs. They are voters. It's not illegal. And no, I'm not a fan of gangs.

Really excited. New book about Samuel Coates, who helped build Goodwood Stables in North Otago for my Swedish ancestor Charles Suisted 1849. Says Charles was one of the 1st to introduce large scale farming to NZ, who would’ve thought that would catch on. Those stables are 2nd …

Aside from the shocking substance of this story, what's amazing is how it was unearthed by Cole. The short version: The Russians were able to penetrate Jared Kushner's iPhone and extract screenshots and data. Then, a Russian intel official was captured by Dutch intelligence (!) and flipped. The Dutch believed Kushner may have been acting on behalf of Russia, so pursued him as an intel target and were able to get into his phone.
They did not find any evidence of Russian collusion, instead they watched him moving hundreds of millions of dollars from slush funds created by Saudi Arabia and the UAE, one of them housed in Israel's central bank.
Incredible reporting, and if Democrats have any sense, they will pull on these threads and learn a lot more about this money.
Explosive story many years in the making, now out in Vanity Fair by Matthew Cole (who will be on Breaking Points next week, and publishing soon in @DropSiteNews):
Saudi Arabia and the UAE set up multi-billion slush funds for Jared Kushner to use.
Iran-Contra 2 here (except with Iran-Contra, at least the US got some hostages released. Not clear what we got out of this one.)
Yeah that went quiet.

Between 1984 and 2014, the New Zealand Crown sold roughly $23.7 billion of state-owned businesses to private buyers. Adjusted for today it’s about 50 billion.
Those assets have generated over 500b in profit/dividends since being sold.

Listen to Ben. Cherry trees are NZ’s biggest future conservation issue no one saw coming. They can grow under and then over crown our native forests, and the kicker is Kereru spread them well
As much as I hate wilding cherry trees, you have to admit they hv good taste, self seeding into the planters at Nada Bakery! Spotted while Clem & I put away a quality jalapeño, cheese and steak pie. Sneaky sods!
