Great to see that @TheIFS has called for PIP to be means-tested.
It’s an argument the TaxPayers’ Alliance made months ago in our submission to the Timms Review, alongside proposals to end the benefit cap exemption and tighten eligibility for mental health conditions.

This week we officially opened Anchor’s new Wharfeside Care Home in Otley with the help of Mayor Linda Hoare and TV presenter Martin Robert’s.
We will soon move resident and colleagues over from our long established Tealbeck care home, less than half a mile away.

An LNT build, this care home has an EPC A rating and has new technologies to harness efficiencies in energy use and prioritise sustainable energy use.
It comes with a cinema, bar, garden room, cafe, shop, hair and treatment salon and enviable views

We are deeply saddened by news of the death of Her Majesty the Queen. She was an outstanding example of an older person who contributed enormously to society and was hugely admired. Our thoughts are with the members of the Royal Family at this very sad time.
