Within the next year, we'll see agents opening DAFs. For now, human advisors, with your OK, manage these actions. Soon, however, an agent will.

I found my way to giving through tax mitigation, via a DAF. Somewhere along the way, I found the real optimization: giving is a backdoor to turning your investing into something more impactful—change.

I'll repeat: there's no minimum size for a DAF, and it costs zero dollars to open one. The nonprofits on the receiving end are as happy to get a four-figure check as a six- or seven-figure one; they need all the funding they can get.

This is so instanely bullish for @endaomentdotorg I can't even figure out what to say. The nation's fastest growing custodian, @altruist, who was just bought by @Vanguard_Group in a multi billion $ txn, and with 6,000+ RIA users, now offers DAFs using our APIs.
As of today 👏 Advisor-Managed DAFs are now live on Altruist, and we couldn't be more excited!!! @altruist advisors can lead their clients' giving right where they work, with no separate login needed.

This is the same onchain infra that powers our App, and is the first exclusive integration using our new server-to-server API.

What does this mean? All these DAFs will run their bookkeeping and settlement on @base and @USDC. The mullet is alive and well.

Too excited... *insanely Maybe its a combo of Instantly and Insanely

I could say a bagillion more things, but for now: huge thanks to the Alturist team for trusting us with this work. The future of finance is abstracted onchain infrastructure enabling embedded x-party integrations over APIs. CHOOO CHOOOOO ALL ABOARD

You can now give from you DAF right inside @ResearchHub ! 👏 Since April 2025 we've turned their RSC token into dollars any university can receive, moving $1.6M+ to researchers so far! Now it works with your DAF too: find a proposal, pick your Endaoment fund at checkout, done. Next level! 🔬 Read now: blog.endaoment.org/blog/give…

For those of you who really want to commit to your goals - your word is now worth something! Define your goal > choose how much USDC and time to commit > choose a charity to donate to if you fail > add verifiers > Done. Built on @Base and @CoinbaseDev with @endaomentdotorg

Something neat about these donations: our fund at @endaomentdotorg holds aRLUSD on @aave, where it earns (so we can give more) until it's deployed for disaster relief efforts like this. Another great blockchain-for-good example.

Since someone needs to say it: giving is not net negative. Like really, fully, the opposite. xitter.cf/RobbieHeeger/status/20…
Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong says donating to charity is net negative "The common view is that philanthropy is this noble cause, and Bill Gates is like 'I'm going to go rehabilitate my image and do philanthropy.'" "A lot of charities and philanthropies are actually net negative for the world and they get captured. It's remarkably hard to find a foundation that has not gotten captured by ideology.” “By trying to do something good, like criminal justice reform, it turns out they just increased crime. I have a donor advised fund and I put money toward things helping civilization advance, but I don't think at this moment I would ever create a foundation." "If you look at the Ford Foundation, I think Henry Ford would be turning over in his grave if he knew what they were up to.” “I have a DAF, a donor advised fund, and I just try to put money toward things that I think are helping civilization advance. But I don't think at this moment I would ever create a foundation."

Sad to see @nounsdao likely canceling their 10-year UIP donation. Regardless, they've funded over 1k nonprofits picked by the public, amplifying the impact of causes across the ideological spectrum. There's so much negativity towards giving. To me, it's misguided.

I choose to take a death-bed perspective towards life. How will I feel about my net contributions to the world? Have I lived in reciprocity with my surroundings, as a steward to the fragile stability that makes my comfy life possible?

People who give are sharing in this practice. They're asking themselves what they want the effect of their work to be. They're being introspective and taking action towards self-awareness. We could use a lot more of that, IMHO.
