KPMG is trying to hire 15 foreign accountants in downtown Toronto at $80,000+ each.
In four days, Mark Carney will let corporations hire high wage occupations from abroad without even trying to hire a Canadian first.
Toronto’s unemployment rate is sitting at 7% with youth unemployment at 17%. KPMG should be hiring and training Canadians, not getting a free pass to bypass local workers.

New 30 km/h area speed limit signs will be posted at neighbourhood entry and exit points. Once you enter a signed area, the 30 km/h speed limit applies throughout the local road network until you leave that area.

My daughter's two. My son is due next week.
It took us 40 mins to drive 7 km from the midwife. We'd take transit, but I don't want my pregnant wife breathing in crack smoke on the subway.

The homeowners association has a contract with this tow truck driver to tow anyone blocking the fire lane. The foreigners are furious saying they are going to destroy his business with coordinated bad reviews, make him lose his contact with the homeowners community and other threats
Again, this tow truck driver is just doing his job and he’s being threatened to have his business destroyed….
Imagine going into someone else country and then not following their rules and demanding everyone cater to you…

After passing the 3rd person smoking crack on our drive to school, I turned to my 13-yr-old son and said, “You know, there was a time not too long ago when it wasn’t normal to see people openly using drugs every day.”
He didn’t believe me. Why should he? He’s never known anything else.
We don’t have to settle for this.
I’m sick and tired of being told that things that are shocking and unacceptable are “normal” and that, if I object, then I’m the one with the problem.
1. Enforce the laws. Make public safety a priority.
2. Make sure the basics get taken care of.
3. Don’t waste my money.
Is that really too much to ask?
