I used sun screen for about 15 days during my first tour in SEA and never thereafter. Clothed up arms and legs for a week to reduce UV rays and still tanned almost to a burn but after that, my skin was able to adapt to the area’s UV rays quickly. In SEA, we were required to wear full military uniform to get on and off the 120°F concrete aircraft ramp but we “stripped” to wear cutoff shorts (under our uniforms) and packed tire sandals in the leg pockets. Shorts, sandals and hat to clip our line badge to was it. We tanned darker than a cardboard box in a matter of no time. I haven’t applied suntan screen since… even during ODS/S.

We had two females murdered in a gated apartment complex (we objected to being built) behind us. Our neighborhood was in lockdown late yesterday through the evening hours. Local TV station WJHG covered the story in a lazy fashion as usual. The station is good for finding out past public events but not announcing current or future events locals are interested in knowing leaves a lot to be desired. Post Date: 03/26/2025 5:02 PM The Panama City Beach Police Department has made multiple arrests in connection with a double homicide that occurred on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at the Sunnyside Apartments, located at 21101 Panama City Beach Parkway. At approximately 5:16 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting and discovered two female victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite lifesaving efforts, both victims were pronounced deceased at the scene. Through witness statements, surveillance footage, and investigative efforts, 26-year-old Milan Prince Michele McKelvey, of Panama City Beach, was identified as the primary suspect. McKelvey fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival. Investigators also confirmed that Milan McKelvey had a prior history of domestic violence involving one of the victims. On March 12, 2025, Panama City Beach Patrol Officers arrested McKelvey for domestic violence by strangulation and tampering with a victim. McKelvey was booked into the Bay County Jail and, on March 13, 2025, was issued a no-contact order and released on bond. Working in coordination with surrounding law enforcement agencies, detectives initiated an immediate search for McKelvey. At 6:33 p.m., deputies with the Walton County Sheriff’s Office located McKelvey’s vehicle being driven by his stepfather, 46-year-old Marwan Gordon of Panama City. Gordon was en route to the home of McKelvey’s mother, 62-year-old Tangela McKelvey. Gordon was arrested and charged as an accessory to capital murder. He was transported to the Walton County Jail, where he is awaiting his first appearance. Further investigation revealed that Milan McKelvey and Tangela McKelvey were traveling north on Highway 331 in a black Cadillac. Both were apprehended in Montgomery County, Alabama, by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. Milan McKelvey has been charged with two open counts of murder, and Tangela McKelvey has been charged as an accessory to capital murder. This remains an active and ongoing investigation involving multiple law enforcement agencies. Anyone with additional information is urged to contact the Panama City Beach Police Department immediately. The only thing I will tell Panama City Beach police and commissioners is they better get their revenue expansions and the criminals that brings under control. I live on the other side of the fence (county property) of this crime and, I as well as others like me, pack and will not tolerate this happening on our or our neighbors property. The one individual caught and cuffed at Moonlight and Downing can consider himself very lucky.

William Paul, a career official named to the position in January, will be replaced by Andrew De Mello, who was nominated to be the Education Department’s inspector general during Trump’s first term.

No problem. No better way to deal with a problem than to get proper help (I fall short of providing that (unqualified)). IMHO, That is the only way you will be able to “deal with it”. Don’t let what is bothering you simmer. Life is to short.

Tips are dependent on the service received. I see a sign like that and I immediately turn around and walk out. Some local restaurants attempted to add a 20% service fee to eat-in and take-out orders on top of a customary 15% server tip. And the 15% tip was applied automatically to the customer’s check for a party of 6 or more. Those restaurants lost customers, many are no longer owed by the same person and/or have gone out of business.
