Is it just me or does 1m38s look familiar @FluidsTom?

We investigate how the competition between rotation and convection can lead to different physical flow regimes. We identify the `rapidly rotating' regime with rotationally constrained and yet vigorously turbulent flow and this is likely the relevant regime for planetary cores!

This is a real tragedy. @kobebryant was the hardest working man in sports history, a 5 time champion, and by all accounts a great father and husband. This man made speaking 4 languages look effortless!
An idol of mine who inspired a generation. #mambaout
While at #ucla I'm using the experiment 'Calimero' (which shares it's name with the little animated chicken) and was put together earlier this year. A recent video shows off the setup

It is awesome to be in sunny Los Angeles visiting #UCLA Spinlab as part of my PhD.
I'm not sure there's a better way to spend September than on #santamonica beach.
I got a really nice view of Greenland while flying to Canada today. Apparently we chose the correct side of the plane to sit on!
Am I the weird one for talking in terms of CPU hours? Is a runtime in terms of weeks/years more meaningful?
