Holding the pass feels unreal. As we move closer to mint day, I have prepared a checklist for @themutualfun minters.
🪑 TMF Mint Day Checklist
Before mint day
✅ Make sure your TMF Pass is in the correct wallet.
✅ Confirm your wallet is connected to the official TMF website.
✅ Have 0.02 ETH ready if you are minting both Seats. 1 TMF Pass = 2 Seats, at 0.01 ETH each.
✅ Keep a little extra ETH available for transaction/gas costs.
✅ Bookmark the official TMF website instead of relying on random mint links.
✅ Double-check the official contract/address before approving anything.
✅ Make sure your wallet is unlocked and you know which account holds the Pass.
✅ Avoid clicking random "mint" links appearing in DMs or replies.
On October 22
⏰ Mint: 7:00 PM UTC
🪑 Each Pass can mint 2 Seats.
💰 Cost for both = 0.02 ETH.
🧠 Don't panic if the site is slow, wait for the transaction status rather than repeatedly submitting transactions.
🔐 Never share your seed phrase/private key, even if someone claims to be TMF support.
After Mint
> Check that both Seats arrived in your wallet.
> Save/screenshot your transaction hashes.
> Check the Seat metadata and understand which fund(s) your Seats are assigned to.

I’ve been thinking about chairs.
Which is probably what happens when you turn 50 and have been in crypto long enough to become bullish on furniture.
At 25, I wanted a Lambo. At 35, I wanted financial freedom. At 50, apparently I want a fucking corner office. And that’s why @themutualfun has my attention.
Because somehow these degenerates took the most boring concept in finance…a mutual fund…and turned it into:
WHO GETS THE CHAIR?
And I understand this shit. I’ve been working for 25 years. I’ve sat in enough meetings to know that the person with the best chair usually thinks they’re the most important person in the building.
Now imagine putting that onchain. You start with a seat. Then eventually comes the burn mechanic. Better chair. Better position. Maybe eventually…the corner office!!
And here I am, a 50 year old NFT degen watching a bunch of internet strangers fight over chairs. I remember dial up and the demon noises AOL made! I remember MapQuest. I remember writing checks. I remember when “mutual fund” meant calling a guy at the bank.
Now apparently I’m supposed to ape into one because the JPEG has a chair and a brief case!!! What the fuck happened to me? 😆
But here’s the thing…I kinda get it. Everybody wants a seat. Everybody wants to be in the room. And nobody wants to be standing around when the music stops.
So I’m watching the chairs. I’m watching @themutualfun!!!
