📺 “We reported events one-sidedly for years”: Serbian TV apologizes to viewers after Vučić's party loses the election Radio Television of Vojvodina (RTV) opened its news broadcast with footage of celebrations following the Student List's election victory — scenes it had failed to show the previous evening. “For years, we failed to fulfill our duty. We kept silent, turned a blind eye, reported events one-sidedly, and failed to ask the necessary questions. For that, we owe our viewers an apology,” news anchor Goran Eror said. Following the controversy, RTV's acting editor-in-chief Nenad Čačić resigned. A similar incident occurred in Hungary, where state television also apologized to viewers after Viktor Orbán's election defeat.
🎉🎉 Serbia celebrates Vučić's defeat all night — now he's warning the country about sanctions against Russia After 14 years of Aleksandar Vučić's political dominance, his bloc has lost the snap parliamentary elections. The opposition Student List, which emerged from mass anti-government protests, has claimed victory. According to preliminary figures from Ipsos and CeSID, the students secured around 53% of the vote, while Vučić's coalition received approximately 39%. The former president acknowledged defeat. He estimated that the winners could secure 135–140 seats in Serbia's 250-member parliament. But he couldn't resist issuing a warning about Russia. Vučić claimed the new government could impose sanctions on Moscow as early as March or April. Meanwhile, Belgrade and other Serbian cities celebrated the student movement's victory throughout the night, with car horns, singing, and crowds cheering in the streets. Final election results are still pending.

We were sent this 2022 footage of Hall of Fame inductee Robin Smith, teaching the son of a very close friend the famous square cut. No kit, just a Gray-Nicolls bat and a pair of sandals. Still absolutely nailing them. Robin is sadly missed by all that knew him, but his legacy lives on.

Hey @SkyCricket the wicket of Ben Duckett should have been called a no ball as Haris Rauf is chucking it. Check your side on cameras. #pakeng @markbutcher72 @WardyShorts @nassercricket

The question is not "why has Donald betrayed Ukraine?" The question is "how big a cut of unfrozen Russian assets will Donald get for betraying Ukraine?"

Fair points but I don’t think any manager would have kept us in the Prem with the side we had. Poor signings yes. Cooper would not have got us relegated from the Championship if he stayed.

This is excellent (albeit depressing) listening #LCFC @OwynnPA @_mattpiper and Jordan from @BSLBPodcast with heartfelt monologues that perfectly capture the desperation and helplessness Leicester fans are experiencing over the potential death of our club. podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcas…

BREAKING: The diesel fuel Russia is now exporting to the United States at U.S. President Trump’s request may have originated in Iran, as Russian oil refineries are largely unable to produce diesel because of Ukrainian attacks. Russia has been importing most of the diesel it needs from Iran. In September, thousands of Iranian tanker trucks were spotted in various regions of Russia, including Ryazan, carrying Iranian diesel. Russia may be buying Iranian diesel and reselling it to the United States. If so, Trump’s attempt to lower U.S. energy prices and deceive American voters is putting money into the hands of Russia and Iran’s Islamic regime.

Hi @OwynnPA I come in peace but would appreciate hearing your right to reply… “Owynn has … worked on the club’s own media channels this season. That might explain both the choice of interviewer and why the questions only reached a certain point.” #LCFC thefosseway.net/2026/10/11/l…

If the Mullahs of Iran fall, there could be dreadful consequences: a second successful liberal democracy in the Middle East; Persia allied with Israel; and the termination of military & financial support for Hamas, Hezbollah & the Houthis. You have been warned!
