Meditation and reflection journaling helps me understand where I am at, now, and how I might want to move forward.
Hanlon's Razor
Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.
We shouldn't assume negative intent if there's a viable alternative explanation.
It's is a great way to decouple from strong emotions when receiving a response.
The Optimist Razor
When choosing who to spend time with, prioritize spending more time with optimists.
Think about an idea you'd like to execute. Pessimists will shoot you down. Optimists will support you and encourage you to grow.
Pessimists sound smart, optimists get rich.

Enabling people and giving them space to do great work is paramount.
Companies that treat people like people have a serious competitive edge.

It's entirely fictional. Important to build your network, skill set, and experience to be able to pivot on a dime when you need to.
Currently, I start each day by tackling my toughest task, which is studying and working on my engineering efforts.
By dedicating time to it at the beginning of the day, I am making progress.

Hey friends, I’ve got a super talented, very senior engineer who is looking for a new job. I would highly recommend this person, they’ve got YEARS of experience writing SQL in React 🫣
Please let me know if you’re hiring for such a person and I can connect you

The placebo effect is a real thing.
The best career/life advice I ever received?
Fake it until you become it.
Imposter syndrome? Just keep pushing forward. You’ll get more comfortable.
Not sure where to start on a project. Pick any starting point and just do. Things will start to become clearer.
