If you’ve a state school background and would like a mock #pupillage interview, please drop me a DM.
I can’t guarantee an interview, but will do my best to assist. In your DM, please provide the date/chambers at which your pupillage interview will take place.
Good luck to all!
It all makes sense💡- I’m barely British!
Last night, Reform Yookay’s Alex Phillips pretended not to know what I meant when I said “Britain is a people”.
This isn’t surprising. Reform has made it clear from day one that they believe British identity is defined by adherence to “British Values”, whatever that means. Something anyone from anywhere can put on like a costume.
So let me be clear:
Britishness is first and foremost a matter of ancestry and lineage. The indigenous peoples of the British Isles are the English, Scottish, Welsh, and Irish. It’s as simple as that.
Merely living in Britain, holding a British passport, or believing in “British Values” does not mean that you are actually British.
Restore Britain is the only party that will say that without fear.

Disappointed by the failure of the Prime Minister to clearly state that our closest ally has violated Article 2(4) of the United Nations Charter. Why have a lawyer as your leader if they are unwilling to uphold international law?
Question: will the USA kidnap the following countries' heads of state due to their (lack of) democratic credentials:
• China
• Burkina Faso
• Chad
• Mali
• Myanmar
• Niger
• Sudan
• North Korea
• Saudi Arabia
• Afghanistan
• Gabon
• Brunei
• UAE
In case anyone is under the impression that this is a debate about naturalisation vs being born British. It’s not. Rishi Sunak was born British. I also wonder whether these people think his kids are British… I would guess not.
Replying to @Kam__Hussain
You’re pathetic.
English is an ethnicity.
It does not include you or Sunak. You have your own land and your own people.
Stop trying so hard to be us because you never will be one of us. You’re not English. You’re desperate and embarrassing.
Just so hard to know how much traction this stuff has. British citizens can’t be MPs… 🤔
I seemed to have sparked some fiery debate. So, I will take the time to respond to some of the comments.
Overwhelmingly, people are in agreement with me. As one person sums it up, "It's insane that we allow foreigners into our government."
Now, to breakdown some of the less logical arguments, starting with Boris Johnson.
1. Did you know that a Bengali Tiger born in Siberia remains a Bengali Tiger?… It does not become a Siberian Tiger. The same logic applies to Boris Johnson being born in New York. Boris is ethnically White British (yes, we know he has a Turkish great-grandfather, cry me a river) and, regardless of where in the world Boris would have been born, he would always remain White British. Just as a Bengali Tiger remains a Bengali Tiger, despite being born in Siberia.
Nusrat Ghani, being ethnically Pakistani, would always be ethnically Pakistani, whether born in Pakistan, the UK or anywhere else in the world. Just as a Bengali Tiger remains a Bengali Tiger, despite being born in Siberia.
To conflate Boris Johnson being born in New York as being the same as Nusrat Ghani being born in Pakistan is beyond ludicrous.
2. There should not be a single Pakistani in the UK House of Commons, and here's why. Pakistanis in the UK are, by far, the most problematic foreign group. Shall I remind you why? The Pakistani Rape Gangs. Terrorist Attacks (e.g., London 7/7 bombs). Inhumane Halal Meat. Misogyny. First-Cousin Marriage and Birth Defects. Pakistanis are the No.1 nationality claiming asylum in the UK, despite there being no war in Pakistan (yes- totally fake asylum claims where 10,000 Pakistanis applied by exploiting a loophole). Calls to introduce Blasphemy Laws for Islam. Calls to build an international airport in Mirpur, Pakistan. Sadiq Khan destroying London. The spread of Mosques and the Islamification of the UK. Sectarian voting blocs that dominate election outcomes. The list goes on and on by the way. So excuse me for not wanting to see Pakistanis in British Politics after the unimaginable damage they have brought to our country.
3. As Aristotle said, "Democracy is possible only within homogenous ethnic groups." We have seen Muslim sectarian voting blocs across the UK (e.g. Naz Shah in Bradford West and Ayoub Khan Birmingham Perry Barr). Nus Ghani is praised as 'The first Muslim woman elected as a Tory MP'. Remember David Cameron's DEI policy of the 'A-list' to bring "Fewer white middle aged men, more women and more people from ethnic minorities" as candidates into the Conservative Party? Well, there you have it.
4. Some argue that Nus Ghani does a good job as Deputy Speaker. Sure, I am not saying she doesn't. But this is not an excuse to demographically replace our own people. We have seen the proportion of the White population across England & Wales decrease from 94% in 1991 to 74% in 2021. Trust me, it's a lot lower now after the Boriswave. DEI policies, in any country, are wrong because they take job opportunities away from the natives.
The Overton window has shifted and people are awake.
It is disturbing that otherwise intelligent people don’t immediately grasp that a “risk-based” traffic light system for migrants’ country of origin is discriminatory.
It encapsulates the core of racism: it fails to treat people as individuals.
It shouldn’t be controversial to say that turning a blind eye to Israel’s war crimes for two years is MUCH more likely to have had a radicalising effect than recognising a Palestinian state.
What next? Asking South Africa to withdraw ICJ proceedings? Does that stoke terror?
Solidarity with the Jewish community in the UK. It’s twisted and deeply sad to say it, but the UK is and will continue to be your home.
Recognising the State of Palestine does not legitimise the hatred of the Jewish people. It’s an insane proposition.
Not two weeks after Labour recognise a non-existent Palestinian state, a blatant reward for Hamas, and there's yet another appalling terrorist attack, again on British Jews.
Every single Labour politician who says they are shocked are lying. They have stoked and abetted the flow of hate on our streets every single week.
From the man stopped by police for being 'quite visibly Jewish' to the dark, dark, years of Corbyn's anti-semitism.
Labour appeasement of jew hate is an egregious sin. They won't admit the evil that has been festering for years now, all because they are desperate for those sweet, sweet sectarian votes.
This is the challenge with having large scale marches - those with extreme views will inevitably attend.
We’ll go the same way as American politics if we have reactionary and tribal responses to every event/tragedy.
With a straight face, DJT said that Hamas refused a ceasefire. Israel literally bombed Qatar while the *US-backed* ceasefire proposal was due to be discussed.
Madness.

I find this way of viewing things a little odd. After what Israel has been doing for the past 2 years, we're supposed to be surprised that the UK's PM would be diplomatically bypassed? This is *quite* low down my list of Israel's norm-breaking conduct.
“𝘐𝘵’𝘴 𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘻𝘺 - deciding that the Prime Minister of the UK is now irrelevant.”
Israel’s foreign minister leapfrogged Keir Starmer to talk to… Nigel Farage, after the UK’s recognition of a Palestinian state.
