Revisiting “Information Doesn’t Want to Be Free” and saw this bit of news. Wondering what @doctorow would say about what has changed, and what hasn’t.
A federal judge has ordered all US ISPs to block three pirate streaming services operated by defendants who never showed up to court and hid behind false identities.

Geographers, journalists, academics, etc. still use words like remote, far, distant, etc. without citing where is the centre of their map. We have imagined audiences when we write. We also have imagined maps.

What would have really happened if @LilNasX took his horse to the Old Town Road. 🐴
To all the people who demand more police to deal with the crime downtown, maybe you should check and see if the ones we have are too busy responding to the "major threat" of a black man on a horse. 🙄 kmov.com/news/police-officer…
Let’s start calling them “wealth ambassadors” or “public-facing wealth advocates” or “entry-level wealth specialists”
