Federal prosecutors listed Rep. Ilhan Omar's name as "Ilhan Nur Said Elmi" in a DC court filing tied to an immigration fraud investigation — the same last name as her ex-husband, who is alleged to be her brother.
Omar fired back when confronted by Fox News Digital at a Minnesota mall, insisting her "real name" is "Ilhan Adbullahi Omar." But a law enforcement source familiar with the investigation told Fox News Digital that the name used in the filing reflects evidence compiled so far.
The filing was part of a motion by U.S. District Attorney Jeanine Pirro to keep a federal search warrant for Omar's DC residence sealed, arguing the government hasn't finished executing it.
