Buyer’s remorse only extends to that which the buyer has attached value to. For the American voter, it appears the only thing the value is their bottom line.
Donald Trump was handed the opportunity to radically transform the political landscape of America, building upon overwhelming discontent amongst a majority of American voters about the political status quo that had metastasized over the course of successive Presidential administrations, both Republican and Democratic. In short, he blew it, and on November 3 America voters, in a fit of buyer’s remorse, punished him by voting for the very party with whom they had rejected two years ago.
