I needed to get to the capital from Lagos by car this morning, so I left home very early. I got to the park by 4:40 a.m. Even though everything was already full, we were still delayed until 5:30 before we finally started the journey.
We all sat there watching. It doesn’t look like he’s going to survive, though he has been rushed to the hospital.
Everyone else sympathized for a few minutes, then went back to the park to be assigned another vehicle.

I never posted about the Alaves match because it wasn’t the real test. There were clear errors in the lineup and the coach’s man management, but nobody complained since the result was good.
Gavi sat on the bench while Rodri was still on the pitch after 70 minutes. Tomorrow when he gets injured, or in the next Champions League game, the coach will suddenly remember Gavi and the need to rest players.
Just look at the pass Alaves used to score it’s the same pattern that’s been hurting us.
I hope Jackson doesn’t score a hat-trick.
Aston Villa is the real test. That’s the match I’ll use to judge the team.
