NEW: Remedy's latest game, Control Resonant, is filled with art galleries. The galleries are filled with real art When I began talking to Remedy about it, I was delighted to discover who the artists are: many are the game developers' parents My story... gamefile.news/p/control-reso…

Who made the art inside Control Resonant?

When the developers of Control Resonant needed to fill their video game version of New York City with art galleries, they tapped the talents of people they knew particularly well

A brand-new employee made a smashing start to her career at a Texas salon, as the glass sliding door she was closing exploded into hundreds of tiny pieces, leaving her client and other employees stunned.

Alan Wake 2: The Lake House is the most scathing and indignant critique portraying the absurdity of machines and generative AI replacing the creative process. Slight spoilers for the story: The scientists can’t understand why even a bad writer like Alan Wake can evoke emotions and fame when a room full of automated typewriters that produce LLM style writing seem to only produce content with disastrous, self destructive and dehumanizing consequences.

Combat encounters in the Dark Place can be so stressful trying to figure out who's real and who's not and when there's shadows behind you whispering "Alan Wake" into your ear 😭😭

This is genuinely one of the coolest game mechanics ever. Getting to change the enviornment in real time as Alan is writing is insane

food and drinks consumed in a movie theater doesn't really go into your body. it goes into your movie theater body which is separate & holy and harm-proof

Actual good black character design of a child/teenager VS random dark skinned girl who's most definitely not black in the first place

I saw someone say she's appropriating white culture by being punk and it's very important to me that everyone knows the song played in this trailer is LITERALLY about a black woman being called a poseur by fellow punks because of her skin color 50 YEARS AGO
